4. Many people put their money into the stock market
in 2020 and 2021 and thought they were investors,
but this is untrue. If you look closely, traders and
investors differ from one another. The primary
distinction between a trader and an investor is that a
trader would enter and exit a company within days
or even minutes in order to make short-term gains,
whereas an investor will view the stock with a longer
time horizon.

6. A trader is a person who buys and sells
financial assets on the financial market
both for themselves and on behalf of
others as well as any kind of institution or
organisation.
8. An investor is any individual or entity (such as a
company or mutual fund) who invests money in the
hope of making a profit.
An investor's primary objective is to maximise return
while minimising risk. In contrast, a speculator is
prepared to put money into a risky asset in the hopes
of making a significant profit.
10. Personality
A trader needs to regularly monitor ups and downs during the
holding time frame because the trading period is limited to hours,
days, weeks, months, and years. You must bear the cost of loss if
you lose focus. An investor also makes long-term investments that
can last for years or even decades. They are therefore extremely
patient and value-driven.
10
11. Time Horizon
The trading time horizon ranges from a
few minutes to a month. For the
investor, though, it has been a very long
ten years.
11
12. Strategy
While the investor performs a value study,
momentum traders and chartists
determine the approach, trading analysis,
and working plan.
12
13. Competing with
While an investor must consider the
current state of the market while making
an investment, a professional trader
competes with them and uses keen
trading calculations.
13
14. Time-intensity
When compared to low or medium for
investment, the daily intensity and swings
for trading are relatively high.
14
15. Risk level
How much risk are you ready to take on to
receive a certain level of profit; riskier equities
have a higher potential for both loss and
gain.Compared to long-term investors, traders
face higher levels of risk.
15
16. Stress level
Trading is more stressful than investing
because of market fluctuations and significant
risk. However, the reality is that due to a lack
of reserve funds, nobody will be able to invest
for the long term.
