  3. 3. What is procrastination? Procrastination is the act of putting off intentionally the doing of something that should be done.

Negative affects of procrastination “Procrastination is like a credit card: it’s a lot fun until you get the bill” – Christopher Parker • Physical experience (tension, headaches,…) • Mental experience (stressed, self-critical,..) • Study/work (miss opportunities, perform poorly) • Within relationships (tense, fraught,…) • Quality of life (negative, pessimistic,…)
  5. 5. Avoiding procrastination - Get away from the Internet (Facebook, Y!m, Twitter, Youtube, Skype , Google +, etc.) - Turn off computer unless necessary (playing games, watching films, etc.) - Put your mobile phone away. (making a call, texting, browsing, gaming, taking photos, etc.)
