7. 14Then David said to Nathan,
“I have sinned against
the LORD.”
Nathan replied, “The LORD has
taken away your sin. You are
not going to die. 14But because
by doing this you have shown utter
contempt for the LORD, the son born
to you will die.”
2 SAMUEL 12:13-14
8. 10Create in me a clean
heart, O God, and renew a
right spirit within me.
11Cast me not away from
your presence, and take
not your Holy Spirit from
me. 12Restore to me the
joy of your salvation, and
uphold me with a willing
spirit.
PSALM 51:10-12
9. And when he had removed him, he raised up unto
them David to be their king; to whom also he gave
testimony, and said, I have found David the son of
Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall
fulfil all my will. ACTS 13:22
10. Above all, continue to love each other
deeply, because love covers a multitude
of sins.
11.
12.
13. (Nobody is perfect except God)
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of
God's glorious standard. - Romans 3:23
As the Scriptures say, "No one is righteous--
not even one. - Romans 6:23
16. John Chapter 8
As When the accusers heard
this, they slipped away one by
one, beginning with the oldest,
17. 36“What do you want Me to do for
you?” He inquired.
37They answered, “Grant that one of us
may sit at Your right hand and the other
at Your left in Your glory.”
38“You do not know what you are
asking,” Jesus replied.
MARK 10:35-40
18.
19. Apostle Peter
33Peter said to Him, “Even if all
fall away on account of You, I
never will.” 34“Truly I tell
you,” Jesus declared, “this very
night before the rooster crows,
you will deny Me three times.”
35Peter replied, “Even if I have to
die with You, I will never deny
You.” And all the other disciples
said the same thing
MATTHEW 26:33-35
20. Then he began to call down
curses on himself and he swore
to them, "I don't know the
man!" Immediately a rooster
crowed.
Then Peter remembered the
word Jesus had spoken: "Before
the rooster crows, you will
disown me three times." And
he went outside and
wept bitterly
MATTHEW 26:73-75
21. 9When they got there, they found
breakfast waiting for them—fish
cooking over a charcoal fire, and
some bread.
JOHN 21
15After breakfast Jesus asked
Simon Peter, “Simon son of
John, do you love me? (3X)
Jesus told him.
“Then feed my lambs,”
“Then take care of my sheep,”
“Then feed my sheep.”
25. 1The LORD said to me, “Go, show your
love to your wife again, though she is
loved by another man and is an
adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the
Israelites, though they turn to other gods
and love the sacred raisin cakes..
26. 2So I bought her for fifteen shekels of
silver and about a homer and a lethek of
barley. 3Then I told her, “You are to live
with me many days; you must not be a
prostitute or be intimate with any man,
and I will behave the same way toward
you.”
27. 4For the Israelites will live many days
without king or prince, without sacrifice
or sacred stones, without ephod or
household gods.
28. 5Afterward the Israelites will return and
seek the LORD their God and David their
king. They will come trembling to
the LORD and to his blessings in the last
days
30. 14What then shall we say? Is God unjust?
Not at all! 15For he says to Moses, “I will
have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I
will have compassion on whom I have
compassion.”
35. The LORD said to me, "Go, show your
love to your wife again, though she
is loved by another man and is an
adulteress. Love her as the LORD
loves the Israelites, though they turn
to other gods and love the sacred
raisin cakes."
36. 14I will be his father, and he will be my
son. When he does wrong, I will punish
him with a rod wielded by men, with
floggings inflicted by human hands. 15But
my love will never be taken away from
him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I
removed from before you
39. The LORD said to me, "Go, show your
love to your wife again, though she is
loved by another man and is an
adulteress. Love her as the LORD
loves the Israelites, though they turn
to other gods and love the sacred
raisin cakes."
40. God’s perfect love chooses to
forgive and forget our sins, as
if nothing happens.
41. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as
having laid hold of it yet; but one
thing I do: forgetting what lies behind
and reaching forward to what lies
ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal
for the prize of the upward call of
God in Christ Jesus.
43. 3Then I told her, “You are to live with me
many days; you must not be a prostitute
or be intimate with any man, and I will
behave the same way toward you.”
