Takes you from installing and activating flutter for the web to set up a WordPress API to then using in in your flutter app. This workshop was all about flutter for web which is a relatively new technology, hence the intro.

2. Installation
• Please head to
– Go to bit.ly/fl-install
– Lets take 15-20 minutes for everyone to setup. If
it’s not working for you, get help!
– Do a `flutter upgrade` if this is not your first time.

3. Web Setup
• Only web setup today
• Not worried about the mobile stuff
• Get, set, go

4. Demoing the WP News API
• You can do the same if familiar with WP
• If not, just watch and learn and practice in
your own time
• After the demo of how to create news API, we
will get started with integrating it with flutter
• We use WP API to quickly build the API so we
can spend more time with flutter
• Tools: MAMP/ Local by Flywheel / Any WAMP

• Check how it works

• Check if everything works
• Look at the web interface
• Look via postman – Install Postman

6. Setup Postman

7. Setup the flutter app
• Get feed URL
• Get news feed to display in the app

done with the rest and there is time left!
