The new Skilled Occupation list 2013 intends to have a tight focus on the General
Skilled Migration for creating a high-value talent pool. The list now focuses on
specialized occupations that demand a long process on formal education and training.

of Occupations ‘ANZSCO’ which identifies occupations of high value, technical know-
