I was born in Washington D.C. September 6, 1936. I moved to
New York City on January 20, 1958.
I was educated in Washington, D.C., Trinity, North
Carolina, New York City, Verona Italy and Giza, Luxor and
Aswan, Egypt.
My novel, SONGS OF THE ZODIAC, In Doo-Wop America was
published in July 2006 by HARLEM WRITERS GUILD PRESS in
association with iUniverse.
I sang with the original Alvin Ailey Company, sang African
chants with Olatunji, and have for many years acted on
stage and screen.
My memberships: Harlem Writers Guild, National Writers
Union, Screen Actors Guild, World Tae Kwon Do Association
(2nd Dan) and Free And Accepted Masons (32nd Degree)
My friends call me Eugene.
