1. LAKE SKI
Lake sky is an enjoyable sport that can be done by people from different age groups. It helps
to maintain the usage and development of different muscle groups in the body.
Actually, there is not much difference between water ski and lake ski. The basics of both
sports are the same. But the mechanism that is used to accelerate the skiers are different.
In water ski, motorboats are used to pull the skiers, whereas a mechanism named telesiyej that
works with an electric engine accelerates the skiers in lake ski.
The starting acceleration given to the skier in water ski is less than that of lake ski. Also in
lake ski 12 people can ski at the same time with a single electric engine whereas this number
is limited to 1 or 2 in water ski with a motorboat. Thus, we can say that learning and
practicing water ski is harder than that of lake ski.
2400 miles of distance can be performed in lake ski in a day using the telesiyej system. To
reach the same distance in water ski, 30 motorboats have to be used - which is a great
difference.
Comparing the necessary area for lake and water skies, we see another big difference: 260
hectar area is used in water ski, whereas a 9 hectar area is sufficient in lake ski for the same
amount of performance.
Also, the lake ski is economically much more reachable than water ski.
Lake ski is one of the environment-friendly kind of sport. It does not give harm to the
environment. The system works with electiricity, thus no hazardous materials such as oil,
exhaust gases, hazardous chemicals are formed. Not only giving no harm, it also helps the
lake’s ecologic life; every performance in lake also maintains 9000 kg of oxygen in a year.
From day to day, lakes are becoming dead areas because of the pollution in and around them.

lakes.
