The Process of Communication Essay
The Communication Process:
Communication is a process where we share our feelings, ideas, thoughts, suggestion, experience,

The speaker is the source of information and ideas for an audience. The job of the source is to
translate ideas and images in his or her mind into verbal or non–verbal symbols that an audience can
recognize. Verbal symbols are words, sentences, sounds, vocally produce noises or alternative
utterances that are said aloud in order to convey some meaning. For example, stop! Is a word
conveying a particular action by sound and can be written out or spoken. Nonverbal symbols are
messages sent to a receiver from the source by means of body language, facial expressions, eye
contact, touching, signs and gestures. For example, the speaker may encode in gestures how big
something is by separating his or her hands or something small by bringing them closer

Consumer Decision Making Process Essay
Consumer Decision Making Process
A key factor in successfully marketing new/existing products or implementing a product
Extension is a thorough understanding of the motivation, learning, memory, and decision
Processes that influence consumers purchasing behavior. Consumer purchasing behavior theories
have found their way into managerial decision making to help companies more effectively develop
and launch new products, segment the market, determine market entrance and in brand management.
Therefore, a better understanding of how consumers decide what to purchase is critical to the
success of a product. There are numerous theories and models describing the consumer purchasing

The extent of the information search is typically related to the cost of the product and the consumer's
prior knowledge and experience with the product and/or product category.
This is the process where the consumer will develop their purchase set, or group of products that
they will consider purchasing. If a consumer is considering the purchase of a pick–up truck, at this
stage they will collect information and research automobile manufacturers and their trucks. However,
the information search may be less extensive when the consumer considers purchasing
less–expensive or daily–use items.
Marketers can significantly impact the decision process by providing product information.
Detailed product information, available product features/attributes and benefits may satisfy potential
consumers need for information. Marketing at this step allows companies to "toot their own horn" to
a degree and explain the advantages of their product. In some instances, companies compare their
product to competing products to help the consumer realize that their product is clearly superior to
its competitors. One consideration is that comparison information maybe misinterpreted or may
confuse potential consumers. If this happens, the potential consumer might mistake the competing

Process Reliabilism: A Case Study
Process Reliabilism Process reliabilism is the externalist viewpoint that anything that can be
reviewed or verified through a process and/or through empirical evidence in general. In short, it is
a way of saying that "x" is true and this can be said because "x" was verified to be true through
some process or experiment that verified "x" was indeed true beyond any reasonable amount of
doubt. The externalist/process reliabilism runs counter to the inverse viewpoint to process
reliabilism, that being the arc of philosophical skepticism point of view which states that anything
that is not completely verifiable cannot be asserted to be true. A great example of skepticism in this
vein would be agnostics, who state that there is no hard proof one way or another that God exists so
no hard–set conclusions in this regard can be made. Process reliabilism is indeed a satisfactory
account of knowledge even in light of subjects and topics that are not entirely verifiable and
provable and the author of this report shall explain why. A Case for Process Reliabilism While there
are many questions that cannot be answered, at least for now, the case for process reliabilism is
much stronger than other mindsets in this regard and this includes skepticism. The main reason the
author of this report asserts this, in light of the literature to be reviewed, is because even if
something cannot be definitively explained, there is most certainly an explanation of some sort. It
just cannot be proven

The Learning Process Essay
The Learning Process
One can learn from experiences of pain ending up seeing life in different way. Learning is a process
of gaining knowledge through experiences. In the learning process pain is often necessary when it
helps people to build strong personalities. In "Discovery," Liann Sumner realized she took
everything in her environment for granted without realizing how effective they are until she visited
her home country, India. Sometimes one has to be in painful situation to learn the lesson. Dick
Gregory in "Shame" did not know the meaning of a word shame until the classroom incident where a
teacher humiliated him in front of his classmates. Many learn by experiencing pain where as others
learns by seeing someone's sadness....show more content...
"All my life, I had been blind to luxuries that I had taken for granted" (283). She was exposed to
the cultural shock that surroundings did not comfort the citizens. As she learned how to appreciate
neglected objects through out the journey, many can feel lucky to belong to a nation that took
good care of citizens and ran things efficiently. Another way to sense precious messages can be
done by seeing others' pain. Sometimes, understanding parents' grief inspires their children. One
would gradually benefit by hearing his/her parents' experiences with places where s/he has never
been. One can gain knowledge of a place by studying books, but that will only provide structural
information about it. Lee learns and senses many things about China by listening his mother and
grandmother's songs. They sing about their homeland where they are not allowed to go back. "Both
women begun to cry. But neither stops her song" (279). They want him to remember his heritage by
listening them singing. People sing to release sorrow inside and express their feeling towards they
are longing. By paying attention to one's grief indirectly demonstrates a lesson. The last way to teach
new truths can be done by experiencing pain with or without knowing at the time of an event. One
can be taught lessons from shameful situation s/he was in, and it can strength his/her personality and
encourage him/her to help someone who is in need. As a

A Detailed Explanation Of The Business Process
a)Provide a detailed explanation of the business process as provided by the case. Contrast the
processes in place with those that should have been followed. Explain in detail any deficiencies.
In this particular case, multiple business processes used by Plush Pet Daycare lead to the crime that
has been committed. The three main issues with the Daycare's business processes involved in this
case include; poor supervision, issues with segregation of duties, authorization, and auditing
procedures. Poor supervision over the suspect was a major issue, Danny Jones had no one directly
over him that oversees his day–to–day duties, the expansion of the company could be the potential
cause of this, but top management should have seen that too much access was trusted to Mr. Jones.
Jones had multiple tasks given to him that should have required authorization from a superior, this
includes providing all information involving new hires and current staff, and signing off on
paychecks. If a few of his tasks where segregated, his opportunity would also diminish. Examples
include signing off on final payroll papers, adding and deleting employees to the master file, and
signing final paychecks a distributing them. Auditing was another big issue that could have detected
this crime earlier. By auditing payroll periodically multiple red flags would have presented
themselves, including the numerous P.O. box addresses, and having single addresses for multiple
employees.

The research Process Essay
Processes of research by Jonathan Guy
In this essay I will outline the primary methods of conducting research, their advantages and
disadvantages and will outline where they are best utilised. In addition to this, I will select certain
methods of research that I believe will be applicable to my own dissertation and state why I will use
those particular methods to conduct my own research.
The first question we should ask is what is research? John C. Merriam considers research as "a
reaching out to bring together, organise and interpret what ever may be added to our store of
knowledge...most truly exemplified when it involves the wider relationship of specific facts to the
whole structure of knowledge". (C. Merriam, 1941, pg890) In other...show more content...
It is the fundamental requirement in the advance of civilisation" (Merriam, 1929, 56–57).
Whilst there seems little argument over whether we should conduct research or not, its importance
being more than apparent, the question now becomes in what manner should we conduct research
and what advantages do certain methods have over others. There are numerous ways of conducting
research but the most prominent are the science and scientific methods, the logical methods, the case
methods, the statistical methods, and the experimental methods each of which shall now be
considered.
First we shall consider the scientific method. There is much debate as to whether social studies can
be considered a science on the basis of how it conducts its research but any claims that it is a
science are based more or less entirely on the scientific method and rational choice, characterised
predominantly by its use of facts and empirical evidence to support its claims with in political
"science". Karl Pearson states the scientific method as "The scientific method is marked by the
following features: (a) careful and accurate classification of facts and observation of their
correlation and sequence; (b) the discovery of scientific laws by aid of the creative imagination (c)
self–criticism and the final touch–stone of the equal validity for all normally constituted minds"
(Pearson, 1911, 6–78). In other words, the scientific method is one which tries to discover

Process Explanation Essay: Baptism
Process Explanation Essay
Baptism
By. Davon Pargeon B–9
Baptism means different things to many people in the different branches in Christianity. Jesus even
got a baptism by John. It can range from a spiritual meaning to a new lease on life to others. In the
Evangelical Free Church religion baptism is done to show that you believe, will follow, and accept
Jesus and God. The origins of baptism can be found in the bible. The way the story goes is Jesus
Christ had John the Baptist do a baptism on him in a river. This is how the first baptism in
Christianity happened. As time went Christianity spread into many branches. Each branch has
different rules and rituals for baptism. One day during in youth church all of us where talking
about the lesson at hand. Then they got on the subject of someone going through the work to be
baptized. They asked me if I had been. I had no clue at all. So when church was out; I asked my
mom if I had been. She had no clue either. So we thought a while ,and found out that I had been
sprinkled when I was a baby. We thought it was a indoctrination to the church. So my mom talks
to the pastor about it ,and he says it was a baptism. But my mom thought it was based on my
decision. An since I was to young to make my decision then; we decide to get a baptism done for
me. My mom had talked to a friend at her work that...show more content...

Photosynthesis Process
Photosynthesis is a process that plans protistans and some bacteria, use energy from the sun to create
sugar. Cellular respiration turns into ATP which is fuel used by all living things. The transformation
of sunlight energy into chemical energy, also goes along with the same process as green pigment
chlorophyll. The photosynthetic process mostly uses water and releases the oxygen that is mandatory
for us humans must have to live. The two stages connected with Photosynthesis are called light
dependent reactions and light independent reactions, light independent reactions is also known as
the Calvin Cycle. Light dependent reactions need sunlight, the energy from this sunlight is
consumed by chlorophyll and made into stored energy. This energy is now in the form of electron
carrier molecule NADPH...show more content...
These reactions working in respiration are called catabolic reactions, that break bigger molecules
down into smaller molecules , letting energy release in the operation , as weak so called high energy
components are substituted by stronger components in the produce. Respiration is mainly how a cell
releases energy to start the cellular procedure. Cellular respiration is thought of as an exoergic redox
reaction that puts off heat. The general reaction happens in a multitude of biochemical processes,
most of these are redox responses their selves. Even though cellular respiration happens to be a
combustion metathesis , it obviously does not appear as one during its process in a living cell
because of its sluggish discharge of energy from the multitude of oxidisation. The different stages of
cellular respiration consist of but are not limited to pyruvate oxidation, glycolysis, oxidative
phosphorylation, and the citric acid or Krebs

let know once she clear. Finally on 8/27/2015 I decided to obtain the auth myself because she was
driving me crazy. So I called CIV to find out what CPT codes to use to obtain authorization for a
bone marrow procedure. Keep in mind this was the day before, so that mean no one in CIV had

The nursing process Essay
The standards of practice describe a competent level of nursing care as exhibited by the critical
thinking model known as the nursing process. This practice includes the areas of assessment,
diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nursing process
includes significant actions taken by registered nurses (RN) and forms the foundation of the nurse's
decision–making ("American Nurses Association," 2010). Assessment is the accurate collection of
comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation ("American Nurses Association,"
2010). Assessment is the first step in the nursing process and the most important. Assessment is the

It is during the second phase that the nurse must establish a nursing diagnosis. Only diagnosis
approved and listed through The North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA) may be
used. Ineffective airway clearance, risk for impaired skin integrity, risk for infection and ineffective
coping are just a few examples of NANDA approved diagnosis. A nursing diagnosis is a clinical
judgment about actual or potential individual, family, or community experiences/responses to health
problems/life processes. A nursing diagnosis provides the basis for selection of nursing interventions
to achieve outcomes for which the nurse has accountability (Defining the Knowledge," 2012). The
third standard of practice is outcomes identification. During this phase, the registered nurse identifies
expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation ("American Nurses
Association," 2010). During this step outcomes must be derived from the nursing diagnosis and must
be measurable, realistic and attainable by the patient. The registered nurse involves the patient,
family, heath care providers, and others in formulating expected outcomes when possible and
appropriate. The registered nurse must also consider associated risks, benefits, costs, current
scientific evidence, expected trajectory of the condition, and clinical expertise when formulating
outcomes ("American Nurses Association," 2010). Example of an

Reflection On My Writing Process
My writing looks like the game Tetris – I write according to how my ideas flow from my head to my
paper. The English 1010 lessons are designed to impact my writing processes and since being in the
course I have realized the importance of the process while preparing the paper. While I knew that
practice and revisions were important to the writing process, the ideas of writing as inherently
collaborative or as an extension of technology were not concepts that I had considered at length.
For the assignment, I chose to record myself and reflect on my process. The observation of my
writing process and decisions took place in an awkward way. I began sitting at my desk in my dorm
with a black ink pen, wide–ruled paper, and the prompt of my essay. It took a good bit of time for the
process to begin – all the distractions had to run out, frequent checks on social media, quick trip to
the snack machine, and responding to text messages. Finally, it was time to start. I can begin.
"Ok, outline" I said to myself. "What's your main point?" And so, I started, pen to paper, writing
the three main ideas I knew I wanted to cover in the paper. I did discover, however, that I scratch
my head while I am thinking and as I write I would catch myself reading aloud.
Following the outline process, I decided to start typing the rough draft. I first started my
introduction giving the audience an idea of what the essay will be about. I did not know entirely
what I wanted the audience to know so I found myself typing and deleting a lot. I decided to divide
the essay in proportions to what I want to explain. I chose to discuss improvements, changes, and
goals for the following semester. I noticed I then spent five minutes staring at how I was going to
start the explanation. This could be for two reasons – perhaps I needed a break from writing or
perhaps I did not take enough time planning. I honestly did not know. I eventually figured out how to
gather the information to begin the paper.
After typing for fifteen minutes, I realized I repeatedly reviewed the previous typed words
constantly. I stopped for a few minutes and reread my entire paper out loud to myself. I was not
loud more like soft spoken. The practice allowed me to

Essay about Communication Process
Communication Process
Introduction
Communication establishes relationships and makes organizing possible. Every message has a
purpose or objective. The sender intends –– whether consciously or unconsciously –– to accomplish
something by communicating. In organizational contexts, messages typically have a definite
objective: to motivate, to inform, to teach, to persuade, to entertain, or to inspire. This definite
purpose is, in fact, one of the principal differences between casual conversation and managerial
communication. Effective communication in the organization centers on well–defined objectives that
support the organization's goals and mission. Supervisors strive to achieve understanding among

Encoding: It is the process of translating the intended meaning into symbols (which includes words
and gestures). The person who gets the thought or idea feels the need for communication. In the
initial stage when idea is formed, it is encoded. After that encoded idea takes the shape of message

relative speed, cost, convenience, intelligibility, timing, feedback options, and documentation. It is
very important to choose the appropriate medium for a particular message, as this will highly
influence the feedback process.

Due Process Essay
Due Process
The phrase "innocent until proven guilty" has been quoted for many years. In our society, we have
labeled the accused person either guilty or not guilty without giving that person or persons their rith
of due process. Webster's New World College Dictionary Fourth Edition says: "Due Process is the
course of legal proceedings established by the legal system of a nation or state to protect individual
rights and liberties." Due Process will allow an accused person time to go through the court

who have been accused of a crime the right to a fair and public trial, the right to be at the trial, the

A jury trial is made up of twelve citizens of the community who have been randomly selected to
serve on the jury. The jury had been given the authority to judge the facts of the case, and them
apply the law that was given by the judge to those facts, and render a verdict of guilty or not guilty.
During the jury trial, the accused person will be represented either by a paid lawyer of his or her
choice or by a court–appointed one. During the trial it is solely upon the prosecution to prove the
guilt of the accused person, and it is up to the accused person and his representation to rebut the
information the prosecution presents. When the jury has heard all of the evidence against the
accused person, they will decide on whether the person is guilty or not guilty. If the accused
person is found guilty by the jury, he or she will be sentenced according to the law. If the accused
person is found not guilty by the jury, he or she will be able to return back into society as a free
person.
As we can see, due process has changed our justice system from hastily–prosecution to time
consuming investigation of all the facts. We should stop pre–judging the accused person until all of
the facts are made known unto us. Due process has given all accused citizens an equal opportunity to
tell their story, and the right to question the evidence that was brought against them. Even though
due process has guaranteed the accused person his or her right to be heard

Using Process Approach For Teaching Writing
Strength
It is controversial to use process approach to teach writing in the recent years. There are many
teachers support that process approach is a good teaching strategy to be used in lesson since it is
beneficial to students. It helps students to get a new understanding of the writing process, comparing
to the traditional writing style.
First, process approach encourages comments in different stages. During writing, students are
encouraged to seek comments from others. It is good to students as feedbacks are not only given by
teacher, but also peers. Most of the time, positive comments will be given. These advices give
students a picture on how others think about their writing. In other words, they can read their own
piece of writing from a new perspective. These comments will be more useful to student since it
helps to build students' confidence and good feelings for the next writing. These comments also
guide students on how to make improvement on their text. Comparing to product approach, which
feedback is usually given after the submission of the final writing by teachers. Students may easily
forget the comments given after reading. Therefore, asking comments throughout the writing process
helps students to develop their skills to response to others comments and make improvements.
Second, process approach encourages creative writing process. Comparing to product approach,
product approach only emphasizes on the final product while process approach emphasize that

The Importance Of Writing Process In Writing
After this semester I feel that I've not only developed into a better writer but also have grasped a
better understanding of the writing process, which is arguably most important; having a solid
foundation for my writing technique is the key to writing well. Throughout middle school and high
school, I have always been told to use the "five paragraph format" when writing essays, but now that
I'm in college, I understand that I have been limiting my creativity and not expressing my
opinions and ideas to their fullest extent. To be a good writer, I must put time and effort into my
topic and fully understand the main idea to write a satisfactory essay. So far, I feel as if I'm doing
alright. `When I first begin the writing process I always start by typing out the full story.
Personally, I can't sit down and plan what I'm going to write about; formal drafting makes me feel
as if I have writers' block. Over the years I have taken bits and pieces of advice about my writing and
incorporated those snippets of guidance and suggestions into what my writing style is today. I don't
think I'm a bad writer, but I could work on developing more of my essays into "A cakes."
In the narrative essay, I chose a topic that most of my peers could relate to and a topic that was
very important to me personally. Being a new driver is exciting, however, it also is potentially very
dangerous, and I really wanted to capture that in my writing. Your feedback stated that I needed to

Writing A Process Essay
Imagine this: you're a young student at your local community college, and you're partaking in an
English course to gain credits. You're sitting in the classroom, and the professor begins to assign an
essay. The entire class lets out a groan that could be heard from miles away, however this doesn't

How do you go about writing one? How do you get the A you so desperately need? This paper will
discuss everything one needs to know in order to write the perfect process essay such as the
definition of a process essay, how to construct it, and how to use proper transitions to make the
essay flow. To begin, one must know the definition of a process essay. A process essay can be
classified into either of two categories depending on its purpose. The first is an essay explaining
how to do something, while the latter explains how something works. When writing an essay that
is telling the reader how to do something, the reader should be able to follow directions that are
spelled out in the essay; however, when writing an essay that is explaining how something works,
the goal is to inform the reader. The reader will not be conducting the process in the essay, but they
will understand the process of the way the subject works when they have finished reading. Now that
the definition of a process essay has been explained, and the type of essay to be written has been
chosen, it is time to put

Essay on the Social Process Theories
The Social Process Theory
The social process theory suggests that criminals are raised in an environment that forms them to
make unlawful decisions. People are influenced by what they are taught and their surroundings
such as where they were raised, their guardians, and people they associated with. Individuals
actions and thought process is going to be based off of what their first instinct is and their first
instinct is going to be what they know best. For example, if a boy is raised in a home where their
family shows their anger by reacting physically, then that child will be more likely the one that is
getting in fights at school than the child who grew up in a home where fighting was never present.

If someone gets involved with bad people for an extended period of time and is with them quite
frequently, anything that group does starts to eventually seem "okay." A person mainly
associating with people that are constantly committing illegal acts as a way of everyday life will
ultimately absorb the same mind set. "According to Sutherland's theory, individuals become law
violators when they are in contact with persons, groups, or events that produce an excess of
definitions favorable toward criminality and are isolated from counteraction forces" (Siegal,
1992, p.227). Other criminal acts are due to how much will power and individual has to obey the
law which is known as the Social control theory. Social theorists claim that a person's actions and
feelings of strong emotions are influenced by internal and external forces. People who do not have
well valued morals and lack self control are more likely to commit a crime. Individuals that are poor,
do not have a good job, and or do not have a close and respectable support system of friends and
family, do not have much to lose. Everyone needs to obtain some sort of social tie or bond in their
life otherwise the person has no boundaries for themselves. Travis Hirschi states, "Lawbreaking is
often the most immediate source of gratification or conflict resolution, and no special motivation is
required to explain such behavior" (Hirschi, 1969). If a person has nothing else going

Communication as Action relates to the goal of the receiver understanding the source or the speaker's intended message. There are 7 elements of Communication as Action such as the source, message, channel, receiver, noise, feedback, and context. The speaker is the source of information and ideas for an audience. The job of the source is to translate ideas and images in his or her mind into verbal or non–verbal symbols that an audience can recognize. Verbal symbols are words, sentences, sounds, vocally produce noises or alternative utterances that are said aloud in order to convey some meaning. For example, stop! Is a word conveying a particular action by sound and can be written out or spoken. Nonverbal symbols are messages sent to a receiver from the source by means of body language, facial expressions, eye contact, touching, signs and gestures. For example, the speaker may encode in gestures how big something is by separating his or her hands or something small by bringing them closer Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Consumer Decision Making Process Essay Consumer Decision Making Process A key factor in successfully marketing new/existing products or implementing a product Extension is a thorough understanding of the motivation, learning, memory, and decision Processes that influence consumers purchasing behavior. Consumer purchasing behavior theories have found their way into managerial decision making to help companies more effectively develop and launch new products, segment the market, determine market entrance and in brand management. Therefore, a better understanding of how consumers decide what to purchase is critical to the success of a product. There are numerous theories and models describing the consumer purchasing decision...show more content... The extent of the information search is typically related to the cost of the product and the consumer's prior knowledge and experience with the product and/or product category. This is the process where the consumer will develop their purchase set, or group of products that they will consider purchasing. If a consumer is considering the purchase of a pick–up truck, at this stage they will collect information and research automobile manufacturers and their trucks. However, the information search may be less extensive when the consumer considers purchasing less–expensive or daily–use items. Marketers can significantly impact the decision process by providing product information. Detailed product information, available product features/attributes and benefits may satisfy potential consumers need for information. Marketing at this step allows companies to "toot their own horn" to a degree and explain the advantages of their product. In some instances, companies compare their product to competing products to help the consumer realize that their product is clearly superior to its competitors. One consideration is that comparison information maybe misinterpreted or may confuse potential consumers. If this happens, the potential consumer might mistake the competing Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Process Reliabilism: A Case Study Process Reliabilism Process reliabilism is the externalist viewpoint that anything that can be reviewed or verified through a process and/or through empirical evidence in general. In short, it is a way of saying that "x" is true and this can be said because "x" was verified to be true through some process or experiment that verified "x" was indeed true beyond any reasonable amount of doubt. The externalist/process reliabilism runs counter to the inverse viewpoint to process reliabilism, that being the arc of philosophical skepticism point of view which states that anything that is not completely verifiable cannot be asserted to be true. A great example of skepticism in this vein would be agnostics, who state that there is no hard proof one way or another that God exists so no hard–set conclusions in this regard can be made. Process reliabilism is indeed a satisfactory account of knowledge even in light of subjects and topics that are not entirely verifiable and provable and the author of this report shall explain why. A Case for Process Reliabilism While there are many questions that cannot be answered, at least for now, the case for process reliabilism is much stronger than other mindsets in this regard and this includes skepticism. The main reason the author of this report asserts this, in light of the literature to be reviewed, is because even if something cannot be definitively explained, there is most certainly an explanation of some sort. It just cannot be proven Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. The Learning Process Essay The Learning Process One can learn from experiences of pain ending up seeing life in different way. Learning is a process of gaining knowledge through experiences. In the learning process pain is often necessary when it helps people to build strong personalities. In "Discovery," Liann Sumner realized she took everything in her environment for granted without realizing how effective they are until she visited her home country, India. Sometimes one has to be in painful situation to learn the lesson. Dick Gregory in "Shame" did not know the meaning of a word shame until the classroom incident where a teacher humiliated him in front of his classmates. Many learn by experiencing pain where as others learns by seeing someone's sadness....show more content... "All my life, I had been blind to luxuries that I had taken for granted" (283). She was exposed to the cultural shock that surroundings did not comfort the citizens. As she learned how to appreciate neglected objects through out the journey, many can feel lucky to belong to a nation that took good care of citizens and ran things efficiently. Another way to sense precious messages can be done by seeing others' pain. Sometimes, understanding parents' grief inspires their children. One would gradually benefit by hearing his/her parents' experiences with places where s/he has never been. One can gain knowledge of a place by studying books, but that will only provide structural information about it. Lee learns and senses many things about China by listening his mother and grandmother's songs. They sing about their homeland where they are not allowed to go back. "Both women begun to cry. But neither stops her song" (279). They want him to remember his heritage by listening them singing. People sing to release sorrow inside and express their feeling towards they are longing. By paying attention to one's grief indirectly demonstrates a lesson. The last way to teach new truths can be done by experiencing pain with or without knowing at the time of an event. One can be taught lessons from shameful situation s/he was in, and it can strength his/her personality and encourage him/her to help someone who is in need. As a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. A Detailed Explanation Of The Business Process a)Provide a detailed explanation of the business process as provided by the case. Contrast the processes in place with those that should have been followed. Explain in detail any deficiencies. In this particular case, multiple business processes used by Plush Pet Daycare lead to the crime that has been committed. The three main issues with the Daycare's business processes involved in this case include; poor supervision, issues with segregation of duties, authorization, and auditing procedures. Poor supervision over the suspect was a major issue, Danny Jones had no one directly over him that oversees his day–to–day duties, the expansion of the company could be the potential cause of this, but top management should have seen that too much access was trusted to Mr. Jones. Jones had multiple tasks given to him that should have required authorization from a superior, this includes providing all information involving new hires and current staff, and signing off on paychecks. If a few of his tasks where segregated, his opportunity would also diminish. Examples include signing off on final payroll papers, adding and deleting employees to the master file, and signing final paychecks a distributing them. Auditing was another big issue that could have detected this crime earlier. By auditing payroll periodically multiple red flags would have presented themselves, including the numerous P.O. box addresses, and having single addresses for multiple employees. b)Develop a fraud Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. The research Process Essay Processes of research by Jonathan Guy In this essay I will outline the primary methods of conducting research, their advantages and disadvantages and will outline where they are best utilised. In addition to this, I will select certain methods of research that I believe will be applicable to my own dissertation and state why I will use those particular methods to conduct my own research. The first question we should ask is what is research? John C. Merriam considers research as "a reaching out to bring together, organise and interpret what ever may be added to our store of knowledge...most truly exemplified when it involves the wider relationship of specific facts to the whole structure of knowledge". (C. Merriam, 1941, pg890) In other...show more content... It is the fundamental requirement in the advance of civilisation" (Merriam, 1929, 56–57). Whilst there seems little argument over whether we should conduct research or not, its importance being more than apparent, the question now becomes in what manner should we conduct research and what advantages do certain methods have over others. There are numerous ways of conducting research but the most prominent are the science and scientific methods, the logical methods, the case methods, the statistical methods, and the experimental methods each of which shall now be considered. First we shall consider the scientific method. There is much debate as to whether social studies can be considered a science on the basis of how it conducts its research but any claims that it is a science are based more or less entirely on the scientific method and rational choice, characterised predominantly by its use of facts and empirical evidence to support its claims with in political "science". Karl Pearson states the scientific method as "The scientific method is marked by the following features: (a) careful and accurate classification of facts and observation of their correlation and sequence; (b) the discovery of scientific laws by aid of the creative imagination (c) self–criticism and the final touch–stone of the equal validity for all normally constituted minds" (Pearson, 1911, 6–78). In other words, the scientific method is one which tries to discover Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Jesus even got a baptism by John. It can range from a spiritual meaning to a new lease on life to others. In the Evangelical Free Church religion baptism is done to show that you believe, will follow, and accept Jesus and God. The origins of baptism can be found in the bible. The way the story goes is Jesus Christ had John the Baptist do a baptism on him in a river. This is how the first baptism in Christianity happened. As time went Christianity spread into many branches. Each branch has different rules and rituals for baptism. One day during in youth church all of us where talking about the lesson at hand. Then they got on the subject of someone going through the work to be baptized. They asked me if I had been. I had no clue at all. So when church was out; I asked my mom if I had been. She had no clue either. So we thought a while ,and found out that I had been sprinkled when I was a baby. We thought it was a indoctrination to the church. So my mom talks to the pastor about it ,and he says it was a baptism. But my mom thought it was based on my decision. Cellular respiration turns into ATP which is fuel used by all living things. The transformation of sunlight energy into chemical energy, also goes along with the same process as green pigment chlorophyll. The photosynthetic process mostly uses water and releases the oxygen that is mandatory for us humans must have to live. The two stages connected with Photosynthesis are called light dependent reactions and light independent reactions, light independent reactions is also known as the Calvin Cycle. Light dependent reactions need sunlight, the energy from this sunlight is consumed by chlorophyll and made into stored energy. The general reaction happens in a multitude of biochemical processes, most of these are redox responses their selves. Even though cellular respiration happens to be a combustion metathesis , it obviously does not appear as one during its process in a living cell because of its sluggish discharge of energy from the multitude of oxidisation. • 10. The nursing process Essay The standards of practice describe a competent level of nursing care as exhibited by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This practice includes the areas of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nursing process includes significant actions taken by registered nurses (RN) and forms the foundation of the nurse's decision–making ("American Nurses Association," 2010). A nursing diagnosis is a clinical judgment about actual or potential individual, family, or community experiences/responses to health problems/life processes. A nursing diagnosis provides the basis for selection of nursing interventions to achieve outcomes for which the nurse has accountability (Defining the Knowledge," 2012). The third standard of practice is outcomes identification. During this phase, the registered nurse identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation ("American Nurses Association," 2010). During this step outcomes must be derived from the nursing diagnosis and must be measurable, realistic and attainable by the patient. The registered nurse involves the patient, family, heath care providers, and others in formulating expected outcomes when possible and appropriate. The registered nurse must also consider associated risks, benefits, costs, current scientific evidence, expected trajectory of the condition, and clinical expertise when formulating outcomes ("American Nurses Association," 2010). • 11. Reflection On My Writing Process My writing looks like the game Tetris – I write according to how my ideas flow from my head to my paper. The English 1010 lessons are designed to impact my writing processes and since being in the course I have realized the importance of the process while preparing the paper. While I knew that practice and revisions were important to the writing process, the ideas of writing as inherently collaborative or as an extension of technology were not concepts that I had considered at length. For the assignment, I chose to record myself and reflect on my process. The observation of my writing process and decisions took place in an awkward way. I began sitting at my desk in my dorm with a black ink pen, wide–ruled paper, and the prompt of my essay. It took a good bit of time for the process to begin – all the distractions had to run out, frequent checks on social media, quick trip to the snack machine, and responding to text messages. Finally, it was time to start. I can begin. "Ok, outline" I said to myself. "What's your main point?" And so, I started, pen to paper, writing the three main ideas I knew I wanted to cover in the paper. I did discover, however, that I scratch my head while I am thinking and as I write I would catch myself reading aloud. Following the outline process, I decided to start typing the rough draft. I first started my introduction giving the audience an idea of what the essay will be about. I did not know entirely what I wanted the audience to know so I found myself typing and deleting a lot. I decided to divide the essay in proportions to what I want to explain. I chose to discuss improvements, changes, and goals for the following semester. I noticed I then spent five minutes staring at how I was going to start the explanation. This could be for two reasons – perhaps I needed a break from writing or perhaps I did not take enough time planning. I honestly did not know. I eventually figured out how to gather the information to begin the paper. After typing for fifteen minutes, I realized I repeatedly reviewed the previous typed words constantly. I stopped for a few minutes and reread my entire paper out loud to myself. I was not loud more like soft spoken. The practice allowed me to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

During the trial it is solely upon the prosecution to prove the guilt of the accused person, and it is up to the accused person and his representation to rebut the information the prosecution presents. When the jury has heard all of the evidence against the accused person, they will decide on whether the person is guilty or not guilty. If the accused person is found guilty by the jury, he or she will be sentenced according to the law. If the accused person is found not guilty by the jury, he or she will be able to return back into society as a free person. As we can see, due process has changed our justice system from hastily–prosecution to time consuming investigation of all the facts. We should stop pre–judging the accused person until all of the facts are made known unto us. Due process has given all accused citizens an equal opportunity to tell their story, and the right to question the evidence that was brought against them. Even though due process has guaranteed the accused person his or her right to be heard Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 16. The Importance Of Writing Process In Writing After this semester I feel that I've not only developed into a better writer but also have grasped a better understanding of the writing process, which is arguably most important; having a solid foundation for my writing technique is the key to writing well. Throughout middle school and high school, I have always been told to use the "five paragraph format" when writing essays, but now that I'm in college, I understand that I have been limiting my creativity and not expressing my opinions and ideas to their fullest extent. To be a good writer, I must put time and effort into my topic and fully understand the main idea to write a satisfactory essay. So far, I feel as if I'm doing alright. `When I first begin the writing process I always start by typing out the full story. Personally, I can't sit down and plan what I'm going to write about; formal drafting makes me feel as if I have writers' block. Over the years I have taken bits and pieces of advice about my writing and incorporated those snippets of guidance and suggestions into what my writing style is today. I don't think I'm a bad writer, but I could work on developing more of my essays into "A cakes." In the narrative essay, I chose a topic that most of my peers could relate to and a topic that was very important to me personally. Being a new driver is exciting, however, it also is potentially very dangerous, and I really wanted to capture that in my writing. Your feedback stated that I needed to use more vivid Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 18. Essay on the Social Process Theories The Social Process Theory The social process theory suggests that criminals are raised in an environment that forms them to make unlawful decisions. People are influenced by what they are taught and their surroundings such as where they were raised, their guardians, and people they associated with. Individuals actions and thought process is going to be based off of what their first instinct is and their first instinct is going to be what they know best. For example, if a boy is raised in a home where their family shows their anger by reacting physically, then that child will be more likely the one that is getting in fights at school than the child who grew up in a home where fighting was never present. If someone gets involved with bad people for an extended period of time and is with them quite frequently, anything that group does starts to eventually seem "okay." A person mainly associating with people that are constantly committing illegal acts as a way of everyday life will ultimately absorb the same mind set. "According to Sutherland's theory, individuals become law violators when they are in contact with persons, groups, or events that produce an excess of definitions favorable toward criminality and are isolated from counteraction forces" (Siegal, 1992, p.227). Other criminal acts are due to how much will power and individual has to obey the law which is known as the Social control theory. Social theorists claim that a person's actions and feelings of strong emotions are influenced by internal and external forces. People who do not have well valued morals and lack self control are more likely to commit a crime. Individuals that are poor, do not have a good job, and or do not have a close and respectable support system of friends and family, do not have much to lose. Everyone needs to obtain some sort of social tie or bond in their life otherwise the person has no boundaries for themselves. Travis Hirschi states, "Lawbreaking is often the most immediate source of gratification or conflict resolution, and no special motivation is required to explain such behavior" (Hirschi, 1969).
