3. I still get nervous about
singing. I drink tea with
honey and lemon before
every concert. And I need
to have scented candles in
all of my hotel rooms.
4. For me, the end of childhood
came when the number of
candles on my birthday cake
no longer reflected my age,
around 19 or 20. From then
on, each candle came to
represent an entire decade.
5. I always wanted to get
married with just candles!
I think candlelight is the
most beautiful light there
is and there's something
very spiritual about it.
7. The putting on of
vestments and lighting
candles, it's a wonderful
ritual that never changes
from one Mass to
another.
8. When I'm really stressed out, I
go to church. I light candles and
sit and pray. And I'll ask myself,
What's the lesson? Why am I
going through this? There's got
to be a reason I'm here. What
am I supposed to learn?
