1. Clean India Green India - A Mission for 2015
The Cleanliness campaign has got the amazing response across India, when Prime
Minister on 2nd
October, 2014 (that happens to be the birthday of Father of the
Nation – Mahatma Gandhi), announced a mission to make the country Clean, by
2019. The people from every class and category praised the whole campaign and
showed the willingness to join the campaign. The Prime Minister also nominated the
icons from every field and domain to participate in this mission. All these celebrities
too responded warmly and initiated the cleanliness campaign in their respective
areas and cities.
However, as far as common people from the society are concern, ideally, we do not
need any invitation from any of the leaders or the celebrities to start Cleanliness
Campaign in our area or city. Like our house, our streets, our area, our city all
belong to our daily life and prestige. Hence, making our area and our streets clean
is a duty and responsibility of every individual among us. Today, every part of the
society i.e. Political fraternity, Corporate world, Cinema Industry, Sports
Personalities, all are contributing in the Clean India Mission and doing one or
another Cleanliness Awareness Activity in their respective areas and cities.
Corporate Companies, especially have took up the Clean India CSR as a prime
social cause in their policies and subsequently devoting lot of time and money to
make our country clean.
However, till the time we all do not participate in this campaign, the purpose of this
mission will not get achieved. Hence, lets join hands, pick up the broom and start
cleaning our streets and areas today onwards. Also, there are few basic things and
etiquettes, if we all keep in mind, our streets and area will always remain dirt free
and clean. For example, throwing the waste in to dustbins, not spreading the litter
around, not spitting on the roads, using public toilets in proper manner, all such
little but vital routine activities can do wonders to make our cities and country
absolutely clean and dirt free. Let’s take all these things in to consideration and
make the Clean India green India mission- a great success in this New Year 2015.
