How to set up an account and share files

2. Click on “Create an account”

3. Fill in your information, agree, click “Create”

4. Download Dropbox
This is to install the app (アプリ) on your computer so you can sync files.
You can skip this step if you want, and come back and do it later.
This is what the Mac version looks like.
Windows will be different -- just follow the directions.
If you have questions, BYOD to class and ask me or a classmate to help.

5. Get free storage space by following the steps
(Click on “Get Started”.) But you don’t have to
do that now. You can just start uploading files
by clicking on “Dropbox” at the top.

6. Create a new folder to put your files in.

7. Upload a file from your computer.

9. Rename your file if necessary, and move it
to the folder you want.

10. Share your folder or file.

11. Copy the URL for your Dropbox folder/file.

12. Share the URL.

13. Those are the basics.
There are other things you can do with
Dropbox, for easy uploading and
collaborating with other Dropbox users.
