▪ Senior IT business professional with 20 years of experience in sales, services and execution of transformational
projects.

▪ International experience. I have led multicultural and multidisciplinary teams in Europe and the Americas.
▪ Focused on customers, continuous improvement, solution ideation and communication for execution at all levels.
▪ Throughout my professional assignments I have applied these strengths to deliver consistent growth in sales
positions, to apply innovation to improve operations and to catapult customer satisfaction figures.
Professional Experience
// 2016-(current), Cloudmas (now Equinix) – Cloud Transformation Director
Cloudmas was a Cloud consulting start-up that was acquired by Carlile Group in 2016 to integrate it into Itconic. Cloudmas
needed to structure their operations for growth. In September 2017, Itconic and Cloudmas were acquired by Equinix,
worldwide leader of data center services. I took over the role of Sales Director for Cloud business, in charge of sales,
presales and alliances.
▪ Organization of the Cloud sales department, definition of goals and compensation models to promote the Cloud
strategy and match the Equinix model.
▪ Overachievement of the sales and revenue objectives, even during the transition period.
// 2015-2016, T-Systems (part of Deutsche Telekom Group) – Sales Consulting Unit Manager
After five years in local companies, I joined again a multinational enterprise. In T-Systems I was responsible of the strategy
of the solutions and proposals to customers in Cloud and IT operations, managing a team of 7 consultants.
▪ Two years of goal overachievement in a highly competitive business environment, the IT Services in Cloud.
// 2013-2014, Libnova (digital preservation software start-up) –Interim Market Strategy Director
Libnova is a start-up with a powerful product in the niche of digital preservation, a name for the technologies for long term
active archiving. They knew they had to grow faster but had no experience for it.
As a member of the Executive Team, I lead a fund-raising round of $2MM. Also, I pioneered the solution-selling approach,
creating all the marketing collaterals, and implementing a VAR strategy.
▪ The go-to-market and partner program boosted the YoY growth to +35% (2014) and +100% (2015).
▪ Signed and managed the first reselling contract under the VAR program.
// 2010-2012 Bodaclick (Internet Portal with presence in 8 countries) –Interim Chief Information Officer
When I joined Bodaclick, the IT was outdated, the infrastructure obsolete, and the functions and roles were not clear. The
technical staff mixed all tasks from IT support to new product development, and were demotivated.
I implemented a plan to modernize and align IT to the business goals, based on the migration of the infrastructure to the
Cloud, the acquisition of standard business tools, and the implementation of agile best practices (SCRUM).
▪ Saved 30% of IT infrastructure operation costs by migration to a Cloud Computing strategy.
▪ Boosted the development department in capabilities and results, by creating a software factory in Mexico DF
and implementing Agile/Scrum best practices.
▪ Improved the IT support to the business by implementing enterprise management tools based in standard
products and not in-house ad-hoc developments.

$100MM in Iberia; while reaching the highest levels of satisfaction index ever.
As Technical Director, I delivered a +25% revenue growth YoY. As one of my greatest successes, I led the integration of the
team into Oracle's structure after Sun Microsystems acquisition in 2010.
▪ Handled services for more than $100 million in revenues.
▪ Achieved more than 97% in customer recommendation rate, the best figure ever in Iberia. The processes
created, dubbed as “Customer Satisfaction Control Tower”, was implemented as European Best Practice.
