The 360 Degree Panoramic Interactive Theatre was made by cylindrical screen of
diameter 14.5M and height 4.2M, integrating with UWB and shadow detection platforms,
to create immersive experiences of digital arts. EeRise delivered the Geometry
Controller (GC) as well as the multi-projector adjustment services to enable seamless
panoramic display.

Ocean Theatre was composed of two curved screens (diameter: 7M, height:3M, 13 degree tilted and
uneven lower edge) to form a panoramic atmosphere. EeRise delivered the Geometry Controller (GC) as
well as the multi-projector adjustment services to enable seamless curved displays. The renowned illustrator Mr.
Shi-Qiang Chen in Yilan County provided the fish illustration while III made it into the colorful underwater
world of virtual reality.

1. In May 2013, the “6K Ultra HD Interactive Wall was established in the Network Operation
Center (NOC) of Chunghwa Telecom Mobile Business Group (中華電信行動通信分公司網
路維運中心). The seamless 400x150cm display wall was enabled by the rear projection of
12 sets of JVC DLA-X90R projectors, and EeRise Geometry Controller (GC) for warping
and edge blending. The overall resolution is around 6.3K x 2.4K, the pixels per inch (ppi)
is boosted to 80 ppi (each pixel is around 6MM) via JVC’s “4K e-shift” function.
2. EeRise optical multi-touch interactive platform and MS Kinect were fully integrated with
the Windows-based system to support the network operation display control system,
so touch air presenter, MS office applications, and other to-be-developed multi-
media applications.
3. The network operation display control system is operated on client/server architecture,
processing 16 input and 16 output video signals (each up to 1920x1200). The display
layout management could be controlled directly by the interactive touch screen, or
remotely by one Apple New iPad via Wi-Fi.

CWBCWB -- Rainfall Measurement and Control SystemRainfall Measurement and Control System
1. Central Weather Bureau(CWB) deployed “Rainfall Measurement and Control System” (中央
氣象局「雨量及觀測資料監測管制操控系統」) in September 2013. The system display, a
video wall composed of 12 sets of BenQ PL460 46” LED-backlit FPD (plus 2 sets 42” LCD
screen for remote display), was controlled by EeRise Multi-Display Image Processing
Workstation.
2. The workstation could process 16 input and 16 output video signals (each up to 1920x1200)
for high performance of data transmission while maintaining the image quality. In addition,
the Windows-based system could also support MS office applications, and other to-be-
developed multi-media applications.
3. Under the client/server architecture, the video wall display could be controlled by one Apple
New iPad via Wi-Fi and three other concurrent client users to select layout templates and
input channels. Through layout design, designated channels could be enlarged across FPD.

The Architecture and Building Research Institute (ABRI),
Ministry of the Interior, is operating the Intelligent Living
Space (Living 3.0). They engaged EeRise to deliver the
curved interactive information wall built on the existing
curved tempered glass. The curved display (4M wide
and 1.5M high) was projected by two short-throw
projectors using EeRise Geometry Controller (GC) and
setup tools; integrating with EeRise Infrared Interactive
Platform for multi-touch functions on Ultra-wide Screen.

EeRise Interactive Multi-Resolution Tabletop was adopted to enable the painting appreciation in ultra-high
definition and via multi-touch. Hot Spot functions assisted the audience tracking down the linkage among
different paintings, as well as providing a better understanding of how the painting was developed through its
original sketches and onsite photos. As a result, the effectiveness of Museum Education has been improved.

System (550x270cm) and Wall Interactive System (300x170cm)，each display was enabled by

Optical Multi-touch Interactive Platforms were fully integrated with the ultra-wide screens to
exploit the benefits of “Edutainment”. Contents were provided by NMNS.

1. EeRise patented Geometry Controller (GC) and Setup Tools, hardware warping
solutions, enable geometry adjustment of Multi-Projector Displays, supporting the
applications of PC cluster real-time computing, pre-rendered content display, 3D
stereoscopic display, windows-based content display, etc.
2. EeRise, an expert of display alignment, employs its projector specialty to tackle
the edge blending process of designated projectors for the optimized edge
blending display quality of customized applications. Furthermore, EeRise could
provide advices in projector selection for specific multi-projector applications.
3. The system architecture is to place GC between the Playing PC and the Projector
to perform real-time warping, making the Playing PC focus on the playing
functions only, for better warping effectiveness and efficiency.
4. EeRise GC and Setup Tools are protected by the following patents filed in Taiwan：

1. EeRise applied the core competence of computer vision to
develop Optical Multi-Touch Interactive Platforms under
Embedded-Linux OS, adopting infrared camera as the major
component of detection set, to enable the multi-touch
interaction of Multi-Projector Displays with high reliability and
compatibility, for the optimal performance cost ratio.
2. Optical Multi-Touch Interactive Platforms transform the
detected motions into keyboard & mouse driven events
which reduces the efforts required for content software
integration, and ensuring the system reliability. As a result,
total cost of system ownership could be lowered.
3. Optical Multi-Touch Interactive Platforms could be applied to
versatile Multi-Projector Displays on wall, floor, tabletop,
curved surfaces, as well as 3D space.
