Visual Design Review By Emma Chee
Concept Review Wearable navigation platform Develop a navigation based game that showcases features. Access location based content. LEDs for guidance. Vibration motor for subtle feedback (Possibly) Bluetooth connection to mobile to send and receive data.
Changes to the concept Changed from being a way to find predefined stores, shops and events. Changed to a game that allows users to locate digital content specific to places. They can follow paths designed by other users and gather hints from place to place. Like a digital scavenger hunt. Encourage serendipity, move away from efficiency of Google Maps which takes away the fun in discovery.
How to embed the tech Soft Buttons – easy integration and can be hidden. Would like to use aspects of the jackets form as buttons, sliders, switches etc. But focus more on the functionality first. Pockets will house the mobile and Arduino for prototyping purposes. Same principle as previous concept.
