INVITATION TO SUBMIT TENDERS TO ORGANISE THE SACCI ANNUAL CONVENTION
As part of its programme, the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI)
hosts an Annual Convention which provides a platform where business, labour and
government consider issues that are of importance and concern to South Africa and the
African continent. This typically also includes the impacts that events and occurrences in
other parts of the world have on the continent but it is not necessarily restricted to these
areas.

Convention is the largest and most significant event on the South African business calendar.
Convention has a proud history of hosting top local and overseas speakers on topics of key
importance to the economic and social development of South Africa and the African
continent. In both 2012 and 2013, the Honourable President of the Republic of South Africa,
His Excellency Jacob Zuma, officiated at the opening of Convention. In 2014 he addressed
delegates at the Conference.
SACCI invites event organisers to tender for the logistics for its Annual Convention 2015
which will take place in mid-September. SACCI will be responsible for the programme and for
obtaining speakers. The successful tenderer will be responsible for all logistics relating to
Convention including venue hire, catering, registration, audio visual requirements, promotion
and other logistics relating to an event of this magnitude as well as assistance in obtaining
sponsorships. The event takes place in Gauteng, but proposals for venues in other parts of
the country will also be considered.
Interested parties are invited to submit proposals to corporate@sacci.org.za by close of
business on Thursday 12 February 2015.
