History It happened at 4:00 pm December 24, 1992. Our company’s founder, Jonathan Bennett, had an idea. Not just an idea, but the kind that can change the rules. It was different thinking. It had not been tried before. It couldn’t be bought. It was perfect. It had to be built. The idea was built in a garage and tested in a laboratory. It worked. This was the birth of Composite Resources. On December 24, 1992, Composite Resources solved its first problem for its first client. The idea made our client’s product safer. The idea may have saved someone’s life. The idea was given a number by the United States government – 5,427,741. We don’t operate from a garage any longer. But just like in December 1992, we still help our clients solve problems with ideas that change the rules.
Customer Passion “In this day and age, the meaning of customer service seems to have a taken a new - not so positive - definition. So as a business owner, I find it refreshing and a pleasure to do business with the companies that hire the "appropriate" people who do a great job being a representative of the company, by way of customer service.   I would also like to inform you, is that during our conversation I never got the impression I was bothering you. You made me feel like a "VIP"!! So, if it is any indication of your company's integrity by your customer service representation, then I am excited to have found a company I WANT to do business with - and not because I have to!! I was taught - you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. I got a great first impression!”     Ernie Layacan Owner/Design Engineer Alchemy Motorsports High Performance Electric Vehicle Conversions
Getting Started with Composites Many mechanical engineers getting started with composite materials begin by utilizing “stock products” like carbon fiber tubes, rods, sheets and angles. This can be an inexpensive way to begin utilizing composite materials’ unique advantages over other materials – lightweight, strong, durable, and sustainable. Composite Resources offers a line of stock carbon fiber shapes that can be cut to desired length or customized to fit your needs. With our advanced machining technologies we can customize stock parts to your specifications.
