5. The big win for Dr. Rajan Mahtani came in November 2015, when the Lusaka High Court
dismissed the claim of the conspirators and concluded that the charges, which were put
on Dr. Mahtani will not be considered as the decision was already given for the same in
2012.

6. Mahtani Group of Companies was able to start the proceeding for a bio-ethanol plant in
Luapula Province under a partnership with Sunbird Group. The project has also received
appreciation from the President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu.
