Vacancy for Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer
12 Hours per Week, Subject to Review

A vacancy exists for the position of Clerk and Responsible
Finance Officer to the Parish Council. Opportunity for
career development in this exciting; varied role. Duties
include:
 Administering the Council’s affairs including -
arranging and attending meetings; minute-taking;
dealing with correspondence.
 Financial management involving book-keeping and
budget control.
 Advising the Council on procedural and regulatory
issues.
 Editing Tower & Tap local village publication
Applicants should be computer literate using Word and
Excel, and preferably qualified or experienced in local
council administration. Good organisational and
administrative skills are essential. Training can be
provided.
