This report provides statistics on online transactions in Iran from the Central Bank of Iran in spring 2016. Some key points: - Total online transactions in Iran reached $17.5 billion in 1394 (Iranian calendar year), a 16% increase from 1393. - Tehran province accounted for the largest volume and amount of online transactions, while Ilam province had the least. - The number of online transactions grew 25% to 190.8 million between 1393 and 1394.

3. This report provides statistics, facts and market data related to e-commerce
in Iran. The data has been provided by ECM (E-Commerce Monitor) with
statistics conducted by the Central Bank of Iran in the spring of 2016. The
following report is exclusively distributed through TechRasa.com.

Iranian Rial. The exchange rate used is 34,500 IRR for 1 USD.

gateway that makes online payments possible without the need of a
physical card. These gateways had at least one transaction during the
period of study.
