1. The purpose of this "Finger is to keep you from
bumping the ceiling when you are rolling the
walls. This is a "stop" that keeps the roller from
hitting the ceiling and making a mark.
This will always stay in the upright position
because the bottom of the "Finger" is weighted
and keeps the "Finger pointing toward the
ceiling.
It also rotates out of the way when putting the
roller in the paint tray for more paint. It always
