We need a focus on three levels as well in content (systems, process and technical) as in organizational levels, the Doers, the Middel-management/organizers and the people who give direction to organizations.
Mechanism Design is the economic theory in which the consumer will follow smart design and better services that address their needs and hidden needs. No one (consumer) asked for the Ipad as device, but it became very successful because it touched our need of mobility and comfort in ICT. Consumer demand is a very weak strategy, based on linear principles.
See the fast growing markets of food deliveries and/or car sharing, worldwide. When FaaS or LaaS comes, the products will be assets instead of stock, for companies. The retail will change towards service providers.
