 It is of Artificial origin
 Synonym- Vyaparika Dosha
 Yougika dosha are of two types
1. Nagaja (contaminated with Lead)
2. Vangaja (contaminated with Tin)
After consumption of Yougika Dosha yukta parada following
symptoms can be observed they are
Stiffness(जाडय)
Abdominal distention (आध्मान) and
Leprotic skin disease( कु ष्ठ)

4. Similarity with Naga and Vanga
 As this Yougika or Vyaparika dosha caused by
contamination with Lead and Tin ,we should know
some basic properties of these metal.
 Melting point of Vanga or Tin is 2320C, sp gravity 7.3
 Melting point of Naga or Lead is 3260C, sp gravity 11.3
 After converting these metal to molten state they looks
just similar to Mercury, and as Rasa or mercury has

except iron, nickel etc. and forms amalgam.

 As it is a known fact that metals such as Tin and Lead
are cheaper metal and can easily converted to molten
state comparatively in a lower temperature and its
appearance is similar to higher cost mercury in liquid
state.
 Now a days the market value of Tin cost Approx Rs
1500/Kg, Lead Cost Approx Rs 900/Kg
 Where as mercury market value Approx Rs 9000/Kg
 This knowledge is used since ancient times for
adulteration and traders commonly practice this for
higher margin and profit

7. Vyaparika Dosha –Why 2
 During transmutation from lower or base metal like
Tin /Lead to noble metal Gold or other practices /
process many a times when the researcher failed then
they want to sell the intermediate mercurial
compound in the market to recover at least some cost
and the same mercury may be run in the trading
supply chain and produce harm full effects known as
Yougika dosha due to Vyaparika interest.
