PROJECT DETAILS
Pidilite Industries Ltd., Mumbai (July 2015-Onwards)
Project: Synthesis and Characterization of Structured (Core Shell) Acrylic based Latex.
The Objective of this work is to develop a structured acrylic latex by seeded emulsion polymerization and its
characterization.
Polymer latexes containing structured latex particles having two distinct polymer phases (composite particles)
have many applications including wide-spread use in waterborne paints, coatings and adhesives.
Project: Synthesis of [poly (St-Co-BA)] latexes, their characterization and study of processing parameters.
The objective of this work is to synthesize and develop poly (styrene-Co-butylacrylate) emulsion by seeded
emulsion polymerization process and investigate the effect of various processing parameters on emulsion
properties.
NIT Jalandhar (July 2011-May 2012)
Project: Cost benefit analysis of the carbon credits in a manufacturing unit.
Carbon credits are gained by a company by reducing the greenhouse gas emissions through adopting
sustainable methods and determining the profit earned by company.
In this project, two case studies were done on two different industries.
Monte Carlo Oswall Wollen Mills Ltd. Ludhiana, JCB India Ltd. Faridabad
