•May 2005: Philiep De Sutter, former CTO at Tele Atlas, founds RouteYou
•Dec 2005: Pascal Brackman, former director R&D at Tele Atlas, steps in as Managing Partner Operations
•Dec 2006: launch of the web 2.0 community website
•End 2006: Philip Van der Putten, director Inc Geo and former VP at Tele Atlas joins as Managing Partner M&S
•Jan 2007: launch of the first Garmin Outdoor Map (the Belux Cycling & Walking Route planner)
•Nov 2008: Launch of the first 3rd party online cycling route planner (TOV)
•Dec 2009: full Benelux map coverage on Garmin for cycling, walking and motor cycling
•2011: more than 5 milj. visits and 3,5 milj unique visitors on our website

15. Business Models
The following business models can be applied depending on the kind of
partnering possibilities
• Services that refer to the RouteYou website
• Free for standard use
• One time engineering fees for non-exclusive adaptations, extensions, extra functionality
• License fees per year + one time engineering for services exclusive to your website or platform
• Advertizing campaigns by default on basis of CPM
• Web service integration
• MAPSEARCH integration is free if route view and download refers to RouteYou website
• Standard VIEW R plug in is free for use with individual and public routes with download on RouteYou
• Integration of the MAPSEARCH and/or VIEW R in a way that does not result in traffic to the RouteYou website is
offered on basis of a licensing model per year that is a function of routes viewed.
• PLANR integration on basis of a license fee per year and as a function of routes planned
• Revenue sharing, 60/40(YOU/RTY), for any service that would be offered to customers as a subscription or
paid service (e.g. outdoor route planning for your users)
• Revenue sharing 40/60 (YOU/RTY) for any sales of RouteYou products on your website (e.g. routes to be
paid for)
• Map creation for outdoor use
• Revenue sharing model on basis of volume expectations
