Reflection on Socrates's Trial

Within the book The Apology, it clearly appears the defense of Socrates amid his
trial, the discourse recently he had his final breath, the moment he drinks the hemlock by
which leaves mark to his predecessors, and indeed to the readers of his philosophy. I
would not center my contention on the event of his death itself, but or maybe to the
natural message which I seen why he drunk the hemlock related to the society amid his
time.
Socrates accepts that it is as it were the philosopher who can bring and lead the
society in like manner. The ruler ought to be learned individual, and by state of mind,
has with virtues, a kind of ethical man who hones ethical activities. But in his time, it was
not. He was indeed charged of gadfly since he is corrupting the mind of the youth.
Looking into these allegations, Socrates was all exact with his teaching for his ideal
society.
He drunk the hemlock since he thought that was the proper thing to do. For him,
it is not an act of blame but an act of intelligence and bravery. Not too since he must
tolerate the existing rules of the society. In Aristotle’s political view, he says that society
may be a down to practical science since it bargains with making citizens happy. The
reason of his view is to discover the preeminent reason of human life. And I think, fair
the same with Aristotle, Socrates found his happiness indeed until his final breath. In
spite of the fact that he is almost to pass on, he accepts that, his passing will be the correct
thing to do since as a shrewd man, he knows what to do.
But in more profound sense, Aristotle’s political view negates the ideal society of
Socrates driven by those philosophers, it brings bliss to the individuals but for Socrates,
the will of the community was not an essentially great strategy in decision- making. It is
the philosopher who is appropriate to oversee the polis
Socrates is a philosopher and could be suitable to polis but was not given a chance,
he has the will to elude but he did not, he let his intellect works amid his trial, accepting
that at his death, as a philosopher on himself, would realize individuals towards his ideal
society.
