You have footage from when the lead female, Josie, agrees over the phone to go out on a date with the male lead, Hank to Josie getting ready to the two of them meeting up and starting out on their date.<br />You have to select between 6 and 8 shots to show what happens in this interlude. Start with Josie putting down the phone, and then storyboard your 6-8 shots. Think, too, about the transitions you would use and the pace of your shots.<br />Activity Two: Suspense<br />2750185113030You have moved on to a different genre now, the suspense thriller. In your latest film, “Death Comes To Dinner”, you have been asked to edit the scene where all the guests at a dinner party are seated at the table. However, unknown to them there is a bomb ticking under the table and it goes off. <br />The trouble is that this sequence takes very little time in real life and costs a lot to stage. The director, A Hitchlock, has asked you to edit the sequence in such a way as to draw out the sequence and build up the suspense. <br />You need to storyboard this, thinking about transitions and pace and remembering that the film aims to be a 15, so nothing too gory can be shown... What shots would you use to really build up the atmosphere here?<br />
