Props and Costumes

 1. 1. PROPS AND COSTUMES
We will now be discussing props and costumes. With a documentary, the costumes will be the uniform of the police, and our casuals.
2. 2. Our ‘costumes’
As we are filming a documentary, we will be wearing outfits which ‘blend’ in with the crowd. Since we will be in Leicester, amongst clubbers and the like, we will be dressed in our casuals.
However, unlike the normal clubber, we will be wearing hidden stab-vests, to protect us if the ‘experience’ of being on patrol gets too realistic…
3. 3. It would also be a good idea to guess what people who we are possibility going to be interviewing will be wearing. TJ has said that he can get us an interview with:
The Senior Management Team
Police officers
Bouncers
Club owners
4. 4. The Senior Management Team: The senior management team will be people who have a high authority in the Police force. This means they will probably be wearing a suit/uniform. Below is a picture of a typical Senior officer.
This is a stereotypical look at a Senior Police Officer.
5. 5. Police officers will always be in typical Police uniform, Some Police officers may be undercover (Like Tj) when we go and film in Leicester. Police officers are usually dressed smartly however well equipped to handle any type of sitution. Props which they may have would be Handcuffs.
Here is a stereotypical look at the police; they use bright clothing to make sure they are seen
6. 6. A typical bouncer would be in a black suit or trousers and a T-Shirt and usually males.
Usually, they have a communication device to connect them to other bouncers for the club, or internal security.
7. 7. Club owners would normally again be wearing a suit with no tie however some owners would be wearing smart casual clothes.
This interview will most likely take place in their club.
8. 8. The General Public will most likely be dressed casually.
Males will most likely be wearing Jeans and a T-Shirt and Females will most likely be wearing dresses.
