There was a highly developed
civilization in Indian
Subcontinent.
•It was as old as those are
called the cradles of Human
culture, such as the civilizations
of Egypt and Babylon.
•Stable for a thousand Years,
It was Known as Indus valley,
or the Harappan civilization.
By c. 2600 BCE, the great
cities of Harappa, Mohenjo-
Daro, Ganeriwala, and over
1,000 others had risen.

13. •Indo-Aryans came originally from the area of modern-day Kazakhstan near the Ural River,
•They slowly toward the Iranian Plateau where they arrived sometime prior to the 3rd millennium BCE.
•They Went south toward India where they are thought to have merged with the indigenous people of the
Indus Valley Civilization.
•The Vedic age began to dominate life and thought in the Indus Valley, probably between 2000 and 1500
BCE.
•As a result the Indus valley civilization begun to decline.
Indo Aryans:

Indus valley civilization.

•Reaching heaven was the common concept.
