2. Adult Courses
 Beginners Open to complete beginners or those who have played a little in the past. Course covers basic modern technique for all strokes,
simple tactics for singles and doubles.
 Improvers For those who have just moved up from beginners. Course covers more advanced techniques to improve consistency, power and
control of strokes. Improving footwork and movement with more emphasis on moving forwards in doubles and playing at the net.
 Intermediates For experienced social players who are looking to play social doubles to a competent level
 Rusty Rackets For players who have played regularly, possibly for clubs or school teams, but have not played for a while
 Advanced For regular players of a club team standard who are looking to improve their game

Mini and Junior Courses
 Toddler Tennis 2 years and older. An Introduction to the game of tennis. The fundamentals of agility, balance and co-ordination.
 Whackit Pre-school children aged 3 to 5 years old and uses sponge balls on a small court
 Mini Red Children aged 5 to 8 years old approximately but depend on length of time playing and individual ability. Uses sponge balls and
progress onto very low compression tennis balls. Mini Red squads are subsidised by the club
 Mini Orange Children aged approximately 8 to 9 years old depending on whether played mini tennis red previously uses low compression balls
 Mini Green Primary school children 9 to 10 years old depending on whether played mini tennis orange previously uses slightly lower
compression balls than a full ball
 Junior Beginners Secondary School who have not played competitively. There are several courses but to start with players would need to start at
1130 on a Saturday or 1800 Tuesday in order that they may be assessed for most suitable squads.
 Junior Improvers Players who have attended several beginner courses or by invitation by the coach
 Development and There are other courses for junior players that have received several years of coaching and those who play competitively. Please

Please note
1. Spectators are only permitted on the Indoor Courts in the airhall at the discretion of the coach.
2. Places are on a first come first served basis upon receipt of payment. You cannot reserve a place. However, once you have paid you should assume
you have a place on the course and turn up on the first date. We will only contact you if the course is oversubscribed, to let you know that you have
been unsuccessful.
3. By attending a course you agree to abide by club rules and regulations. All players aged 8 and under become day members on the day they attend the
course, which entitles them to play for teams when selected but does not allow for members rates on private court hire.
4. Correct footwear and appropriate clothing must be worn. Tennis shoes/trainers must have non marking soles and be clean and dry. Outdoor shoes
WILL NOT BE permitted on any court.
5. Only WATER in a sealed plastic container may be taken onto any court. Food is not permitted on any court. Spectators are reminded that this
includes the seating area in the bubble.
6. There is no smoking in the centre, grounds or its environs.
7. Photography and videoing will not be permitted without the Centre Manager’s written permission.

Cardio Tennis is an exhilarating cardiovascular workout that includes warm-up, cardio
workout and cool down segments. It’s a new fun group activity featuring drills and games
to give players of all abilities ultimate, high energy-work out.
