Responsible as: programmer, planner, tenant construction administrator,
and furniture system coordinator for over 7 million SF of tenant
improvement projects.
Airtel Ground Floor 25,000 SF Executive Briefing Center as part of the 600,000 SF
Gurgaon, India Corporate Headquarters. Designed as a “wow factor” first
impression for new clients and employees, so the details and finishes were
carefully selected. Various size conferencing spaces with high tech audiovisual
presentation equipment.

Airtel Top floor 50,000 SF Executive Suite as part of the 600,000 SF Gurgaon, India
Corporate Headquarters. Built around the integration of the close family of 12
executive VPs and the CEO/ CFO team approach. Central within the space was
the executive huddle room/ boardroom. Finishes and furniture were chosen to
be part of the campus sustainable goals.

Albany 50,000 SF County Services Central Office located in Albany Georgia.
Central Square Services New furniture and custom cabinetry was included. Main entry from the Central
Building Square was 2 stories and stone finished.

Bank of America 25,000 SF prototype design of the “MY WORK” alternative environment for the
non-client facing departments of the bank. This workspace includes
state-of-the-art conferencing center, touch-down stations and open-team areas.
Located in North Charlotte, NC.

construction documents and construction administration services.
Creative Wood 6,000 SF Furniture Showroom to display manufacturing capabilities in the
Chicago Mart, Chicago Illinois. Special lighting with custom designed displays.

Equitable 195,000 SF facility located in a self-owned new building in the Buckhead area of
Real Estate Corporate Atlanta-comprising 7.5 interconnected floors suited for Equitable computer and
Headquarters management culture.

Sprint 65,000 SF design focused on providing a flexible work environment to further
test the new Sprint “WORK ANYWHERE” approach to space. Along with high tech
teaming areas, there are three different workstation configurations scattered on
5 floors. Supports flexible drop-in work arrangements and constant placements.

David M Standard AIA Business Park Site Planning and Building Shell Projects
Cisco A world-based development team from the US, UK and India worked with the
Cisco world-wide team for master planning studies of a 37-acre campus
incorporating 3.7 million SF for IT internet system development campus. Key to
the success of this project was developing three different options while
highlighting building configurations for 8 new buildings, public areas, 14,000 car
parking and green spaces with water features, to provide a pleasant pedestrian
experience over a large expanse of land. This is an addition to the existing
Bangalore campus.
Responsible as creative director and master planner thru design
development.
Abernathy Park Master plan incorporated four major components into a 10-acre site
centered on a major oval park and lake. Components consisted of a 400 room
hotel, two 250,000 SF office buildings, 2300 car parking deck, and a 150 unit
residential tower.
Principal in charge of project responsible as programmer, master planner,
proposal preparation manager.
Barti 250,000 SF glass and concrete building custom-designed to house their largest
tenant, Airtel. Located in Kalcutta, India technology park. Parking under building
and a plaza beside the building. Striking iconic image from the highway.

Southern Company 300,000 SF Corporate Office building located in downtown Atlanta.
The 12 story building, though owned and operated by Barry Real Estate is solely
occupied by The Southern Company.
Responsible as creative director and project manager for design
development of the building exterior and the concept and detailing of the
entry lobby.
PepsiCo Two buildings of 300,000 SF each serving as Indian Central Headquarters for
PepsiCo. Metal panels and glass exterior. The two buildings are shifted to allow
for a people park between them and are connected with sky bridges.

Lavasa 110,000 SF office building competition. IT office site concept in the heart of a
lakeside new town development near Puni India.

Operations Center Office building with a 30,000 SF Maintenance Facility attached.

building. Major sunlight filled rotunda unifies the windowless archive
library spaces.

Young Harris College Master Planning and future Strategic Thinking for this small North Georgia
College. Included design and connection elements for a new Fine Arts Wing.

and Children Services, administration of care for abused children. Each building is 75,000 SF
Fulton County located in Fulton County, Walker County, Rockdale County, and Bullock County.
Responsible as principal to program, co-design, and develop the design
for interior and public spaces.
Gwinnett Professional 50,000 SF contemporary glass and precast building adjacent to the Gwinnett
Center II Regional Hospital.

David M Standard AIA Mixed Use/ Historic Renovation
Sundance Center A mixed-use project that started as an old abandoned car dealership.
We envisioned a re-use; however, the original building was not constructed well.
Our program consisted of street level retail with multi-level office and an art
cinema above. Parking behind as well as under the retail. Working closely with
neighborhood groups, this rezoning/ redesign took 18 months to complete.
The project is a success today.
Principal in charge of programming, master planning and zoning.
Block Candy Company Historic adaptive re-use of a 100-year-old three story 25,000 SF building. It
consisted of solid brick walls and solid large timber structure. Originally built as a
manufacturing facility for candy manufacturing, and then a cotton bale
warehouse, it laid empty for two decades. It is now a favorite office building
space near downtown Atlanta. The building achieved historic register status by
project end.
Principal in charge of all phases including the interface with the National
Park Service.
Means Street Historic adaptive re-use of a four story 40,000 SF solid brick building. This 100-
Carriage Works year-old building structure consisted of solid brick walls and solid large timber
structure. Originally built as a manufacturing facility for the first horseless
carriage in Atlanta, and then a cotton bale warehouse, it then laid empty for two
decades. It is now a sought after office space near downtown Atlanta.
The building achieved historic register status by project end.
Principal in charge of all phases including the interface with the National
Park Service.
540 Means Street A two story 30,000 SF solid brick historic adaptive re-use building. This 75-year-
old structure consisted of solid brick walls and solid large timber. Originally built
as a manufacturing facility, then used as a warehouse, it laid empty for two
decades.
It is now a favored office building space near downtown Atlanta.
Principal in charge of all phases.
Brumby Chair Factory Historic adaptive re-use of four solid-brick three and five story buildings. This
100-year-old building structure consisted of solid brick walls and solid large
timber structure. Originally built as a manufacturing facility for the then famous
Brumby Rocker, then used as a warehouse, it laid empty for two decades. It is
now a favorite loft living spaces near downtown Marietta. The building achieved
historic register status by project end.

Decatur Homes 100 bed apartment style Ambulatory Care Facility. Located near Decatur GA.
Responsible as creative director for site planning and exterior architecture.
Emory Arms 150 unit three story project w/parking under. Built within a mature neighborhood
on a site tear-down of dilapidated 70’s apartment buildings. The mature trees
and the unique site requirements make this a beautiful residential experience.

Orris Carnation 2300 unit high-rise community, 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms each in ground+12 high
Residency buildings. 25-acre site, underground parking. Located near Gurgaon, India.

development, and furniture concepts and procurement.
Verizon Call Center 140,000 SF two story tilt-up concrete building.
Columbia SC Design based on the Verizon proprietary interior design standards. Each building
was custom fit to each site and designed around tilt-up construction cost
savings. The Columbia SC building will be the largest sustainably focused call
center in the Southeast.

Haverty’s Long-term client with evaluation of existing and new locations for site, building
and facility condition. Developed a new store image and managed the roll-out
into 12 major cities-Dallas, Houston, Washington, and Jacksonville as examples.
Responsible as creative director for planning and design development of
building configuration, interior and exterior lighting concepts, site planning,
and image development.
Walmart Developed a hypothetical design for the roll out of stores in the
new market: India. One story, green roof, water conservation, and
solar controls. Parking under concrete tilt-up structure.

and image development. Responsible for presentation package for
the client: Barti.
General Growth Repositioning four regional malls: Cleveland Mall TN, Country Club Mall VA,
Discover Mall GA, Fox Run Mall NH. Visit each location, evaluate is condition and
market position, study competition, design and present recommendations for
changes and prepare budget and schedule for client assessment.

Tommy Hilfiger 45,000 SF stand alone design for the location in new town of Lavasa near Puni
India. Designed around the Tommy Hilfiger prototypes located in New York City.

Club Corp swimming and hand ball areas. Located in an existing high-rise in Vinings
Georgia with a commanding view of downtown Atlanta.
Principal in charge of coordination with Club Corp, design development,
construction documents and construction documents.
Club Corp 45,000 SF replacement Club House design located in April Sound Subdivision
north of Houston TX. This replaced the previous clubhouse, which previously
burned to the ground. Reuse of the foundation and the site amenities
were required.
Responsible as creative director for planning and design development.
Marina Del Sol 250 room Beach Hotel, Spa and Marina located in Corpus Christi, TX.
Responsible for the Spa and Marina design and coordination with the design
team. Developed the marketing materials for the client.
Inscol The hotel’s 8,400 SF Grove Spa will include steam rooms, sauna, and a fitness
center. Features opulent bathrooms with freestanding soaking tubs and spa
showers, custom furnishing and personalized exercise bars. A refreshment bar
and restaurant will also be included, and 55 permanent private cabanas will have
wonderful Himalayan Mountain views. Located near Chandigarh, India. A
wellness center will provide up to date medical advice and recommendations.

tubs and spa showers, custom furnishing and personalized exercise bars. A

Berggruen Hotel 60 room specialty Business Hotel located in Delhi India.

Komat Hotel 110-room Hotel with three themed restaurants for an established Indian Hotel
Developer. 7 story lobby with roof swimming and full roof garden restaurant.
Responsible as creative director for planning, building design and design
development of interior design including restaurant themes and bar
environments. Responsible for the design team development of the room
concept and the green alternatives.
