The production, the energy consumption and the quality of the cement
which are obtained by the Nasice Cement Plant during the test, and during
the last years show that the management for the all departments is very good.

2. NASICE CEMENT PLANT CROATIA INC CEPROCIM S.A.
Contract 02-20/2000
MEASUREMENTS OF THE PROCESS PARAMETERS
FINAL TECHNICAL REPORT
In the attached figures Raw mills specific energy consumption, Kilns
heat consumption and Cement mills specific energy consumption are shown
the actual desired level of consumption and the results of Nasice Cement
Plant.
The results showed that the figures obtained by the Nasice cement
plant are good.
However the following remarks may be done:
• The moisture of quarry material is very high
• The residue > 25 mm for marly – limestone after crusher is ~ 15 %
• The running time of drum dryer is higher
• The fineness of raw mill ~ 13 % R009 is higher
• The temperature of clinker output grate cooler is higher and the secondary
air temperature is relatively low
• The residue > 25 mm for clinker after grate cooler is ~ 17 %
• The charge of cement mill no. 2 is approx. 75 % by the normal charge
• The Blaine surface of cement is usually high
These problems influence the results of the different departments.
