“This is exactly the kind of project we’ve been waiting for on Vancouver Island,” says
president of Silver Arrow Cars, Tim Quocksister.
The 19-hectare automotive resort is only minutes away from both the Pacific Ocean
and Lake Cowichan, and just 45 minutes north of Victoria, BC.
Tim Quocksister, from Victoria, deals with high-end car buyers daily and predicts
that the “great weather year round” and “tourist-attractive nature of Vancouver
Island” will make the track a viable auto-vacation destination.
It will include a 2.3-kilometre racetrack (expandable to 4.2 kilometres) with a top
speed of 211 km/h for street-legal sports cars, an off-road adventure track and a
driving dynamics area.
A dealer meeting held at the Las Vegas Raceway, inspired the GAIN Dealer Group to
build their variation. “I’ve come across similar track designs before,” says Tim
Quocksister, and “tracks like these are the perfect setting for performance drivers.”
After a day at the track, returning to the resort with a clubhouse, fine dining and
hotel accommodation, means having every vacation want and need at your disposal.
During his numerous years in the car industry, Tim Quocksister believes that having
