Dana Pierce Provides A Look Inside the Splendid Arena Of Painting And How It's Molded And Improved The World We Live In<br />Painting has countless styles and forms of expression as there are colors in the world. Everything from the surface you paint on to the style of brush you choose to the strength and way are applying paint to canvas, wood or paper offers an effect on the final painting. As an art form, painting is widely known and extends back to olden days. The truth is, the oldest known paintings are considered to be 32,000 yrs. old and are at the Grotte Chauvet in France. The earliest known evidence of painting was identified in 2 rock shelters in Northern Australia and they are considered to be 60,000 years old. Painting has been around for pretty much as long as the human race and digital revolution or no digital revolution - it really is not going away soon. <br />Most of the world acknowledges to be fantastic art or great paintings come from Western cultures. It's not because the painting of these cultures is more advanced than Eastern cultures but is because of the simple reality that until Modern times, Eastern and Western cultures didn’t typically intersect. Today museum curators and art historians study art and painting on a global basis. They are no longer confined to what exactly is taking place in their country alone, or their continent alone. This is in addition demonstrated in culture as well as the globalization we’ve seen taking place within the last 20 or so years. Painting, like art, is a reflection of the painter along with the culture through which it lives. In the western cultures oil painting and watercolors have a very long tradition and elaborate styles and subject matters. In eastern cultures, ink paintings have customarily been the prominent art form. <br />Photography has brought an important influence on painting. In advance of photography, paintings were nearly as much an accurate documentation of society, or on the family who commissioned portraits to remember particular events as they were art. As photography is actually more advanced, paintings have lost several of their past reason for furnishing an archive of the world.
