2. ★ Muller has been an artist,curator and a dealer for 29
years.
★ As a painter and sculptor, he has had over 20 solo
exhibitions on both coasts and several in the flyover
states of Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana.
★ Muller holds a degree in Filmmaking and Fine Art from
Northwestern University
★ He also is responsible for many private and public
commissions, Such as his latest MTA Arts for Transit.
★ Although he was born and raised in NY he now lives in

4. In the Urban Motif , You see a crowd of silhouettes and
shadows of people with many different colors on them.The
Urban Motif is portraying the diversity of people among
us.The many different types of people we walk with and by
everyday.The artwork is split in three different panels to
make one piece of art but can also be seen as three
individual works of art. Muller has used many colors like
different shades of yellow, blue, red, green and black. The
focus point of this work are the groups of people.

5. The artwork is unified together to show that even though
we are all together we are all different in our own ways and
he shows this with the different colors shaded in on the
groups of people.I think his idea that this artwork conveys
the diversity in our neighborhood was successful. The
reason is because it shows how a NYC sidewalk would
most likely look like crowned but it also has the different
colors of the people to help show the diversity among the
people.
