An experienced civil defense litigator attorney, Cullen McKinney has served as a partner at
Tanoury, Nauts, McKinney & Garbarino, PLLC, (TNMG) since co-founding this Detroit law firm in
2009. Cullen McKinney holds membership in multiple professional societies, including the State
Bar of Michigan.

Michigan Residents
Since its founding by the Michigan legislature in 1935, the State Bar of Michigan has been
dedicated to “promoting improvements in the administration of justice” within the state. As part of
this effort, the State Bar of Michigan administers the Access to Justice (ATJ) Campaign in
conjunction with the Michigan State Bar Foundation.

4. Access to Justice Campaign Provides Legal Aid to
Michigan Residents
A collaborative centralized campaign that strives to make the Michigan legal system accessible
and fair for everyone, the ATJ Campaign offers legal aid to impoverished individuals who would
otherwise be unable to afford a qualified attorney. It supports 15 legal aid programs throughout
Michigan, understanding that access to adequate legal representation can break systemic cycles
that tend to keep people in poverty.
