Kwik-E-Mart is expanding into the New York Capital Region and needs to create an online presence and mobile app to locate stores. They will be opening various store formats like those focusing on drinks and gas, organic groceries and gas, or 24 hour stores. The task is to design the locate a store feature for mobile. It needs to include navigation, store details like location, hours and type, and user interactions while maintaining the Kwik-E-Mart branding. Examples stores and personas are provided to help guide the design process.

A very fortunate business man has come into a
large sum of money and is now looking to expand
his company into the New York State Capital

3. Problem?
WHAT WE NEED TO DO:
Kwik-E-Mart inc. has grown so large that it needs to make a presence online.
Currently the company doesn’t have a online presence, but you all have been hired to
make one. The requirements are simple, create an interactive and engaging website
that is accessible via all different types of internet ready devices (smartphones and
computers).

A very laid back individual. When she has the time, she
loves listening to music and drawing. She is clearly a
mobile user as all of her devices are portable (laptop and
mobile phone). Of the two, she strongly prefers her
mobile phone. She is not from the area so she normally
needs to use GPS to get around. Having the ability to do
simple search for the nearest location is the bigger
benefit. Also being a night owl, she needs to know what
locations are open and what are closed.
