Campaign continuity and coherence Record label name I made sure the name of the record label appears on all three products; on the back cover and spine of the digipak, in the small print of the advertisement and in the credits of the video. This allows the audience to see that they have been produced by the same company. Location The video is set outdoors among some trees, which corresponds with the photographs of the band and also the digipak cover. This is a continual theme that I wanted to have running through all the products to make it clear they are related.

Campaign continuity and coherence Fonts A band’s own font is the equivalent of a product’s logo, so I used the same font in all three products to ensure consistency that the audience would recognise. For instance, they may potentially be more inclined to notice the digipak in a shop if they recognise the font from the magazine advert. Low lighting The theme of darkness is very prominent within the metal genre so in all three products there is low lighting and some black and white editing has been implemented to reinforce this. It helps to convey the preferred meaning of death and fear to the audience. Again this appears throughout all the products, for example the images of the trees on the digipak have been digitally enhanced to appear unnaturally dark.

Campaign continuity and coherence Colour scheme I tried to use a similar colour scheme throughout my video, digipak and advertisement. It is predominantly black, white and grey, stereotypical of the genre. This helps the audience to recognise the products as being of the metal genre even if they are not part of the target audience. This also helped maintain a consistency throughout that the audience will hopefully recognise, and potentially encouraging them to buy the product or watch the video.
