What was the original inspiration
behind their ‘dog’ logo?
The trademark image comes from a
painting by English artist Francis
Barraud, and titled His Master's Voice. the
dog, a fox terrier called Nipper, had
originally belonged to Barraud's brother
Mark. When Mark Barraud died, Francis
inherited Nipper, Francis noted the peculiar
interest that the dog took in the recorded
voice of his late master.

over time?
It has been modernised to a simpler
dog and is now in black and white.

To catch peoples attention, by using polar bears, this is
appealing to mostly young females. Young females think
that polar bears are cute and will result in them buying
them.
In your opinion did they achieve this?
I think they did achieve the main female
audience. Because it mainly aimed at females
they may not be appealing to males.
Why do you think it is an inspirational
advert?
Because all the polar bears were together
drinking coke and being cute.
