  2. 2. I´m Wenlock, the Olympic mascot for London2012. My name: the first modern Olympic Games took place in Much Wenlock in 1850.I love finding out about all sports, having fun and making friends.
  3. 3. I´m Mandeville, the Paralympic mascotfor London 2012. My name: the first Paralympic Games took place in Stoke Mandeville in 1948.I love trying new things and challenging myself to be the best I can be.
  4. 4. We are from Cañada de Gómez, Argentina.
  5. 5. We attend the Technical School N° 452.Which specializes in: welding turning Electro mechanic .
  6. 6. We study English Maths History Geography Metal mechanic. And other subjects.
  7. 7.  We attend school from Monday to Friday in the morning and in the afternoon
  8. 8.  We choose volleyball because it is a team sport, that means it is carried out with several players who are forming a team with the common goal of winning. There are different positions such as lift, riveter, blocker, libero. It is a sport with a lot more communication to make plays than others, by the friction between the players. Volleyball players and other sports experience by playing.
  9. 9. Wheelchair TennisThe wheelchair tennis is a sport that is practiced in over 80 countries.The rules are that the ball can sting 2 times and any player can let it play in a chair. The best Argentinian player is called Gustavo Fernandez.
  10. 10. Basketball in wheelchairs Basketball in wheelchairs was developed by U.S. veterans of World War II. It currently develops in 80 countries worldwide.
  11. 11. Paralympic cycling The paralympic cyclists are Rodrigo López y Alberto Nattkemper. They are a good example to follow.
  12. 12. Paralympic football The Bats are a football team from Argentina , they’re blind and play football. In 2009 they won the silver medal in Athens. The bats train in the CENARD three times a week .
