LUKE 5
“4 When he had finished speaking, he said to
Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down
the nets for a catch."
5 Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard
all night and haven't caught anything. But
because you say so, I will let down the nets."
6 When they had done so, they caught such a
large number of fish that their nets began to
break.
7 So they signaled their partners in the other
boat to come and help them, and they came and
filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus'
knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a
sinful man!"

LUKE 5
“4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and
let down the nets for a catch."
5 Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught
anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."
6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets
began to break.
7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they
came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me,
Lord; I am a sinful man!"
20. JESUS AND THE DISCIPLES
JOHN 21
5He called out to them, "Friends, haven't you any fish?" "No," they
answered.
6He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will
find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in
because of the large number of fish.
7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!"
As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, "It is the Lord," he wrapped
his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped
into the water.
8The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish,
for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.
9When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish
on it, and some bread.
10Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish you have just caught."
11Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was
full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.
12Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the
disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord.
13Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same
with the fish.

He treated Abram well for her sake, and Abram acquired sheep and
cattle, male and female donkeys, menservants and maidservants,
and camels. But the Lord inflicted serious diseases on Pharaoh and
his household because of Abram's wife Sarai. So Pharaoh summoned

Kadesh and Shur. For a while he stayed in Gerar, and there Abraham said of his wife
Sarah, "She is my sister." Then Abimelech king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her. But
God came to Abimelech in a dream one night and said to him, "You are as good as dead
because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman." Now Abimelech had not
gone near her, so he said, "Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation? Did he not say to
me, 'She is my sister,' and didn't she also say, 'He is my brother'? I have done this with a
clear conscience and clean hands." Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know you
did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is
why I did not let you touch her. Now return the man's wife, for he is a prophet, and he
will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not return her, you may be sure that you
and all yours will die." Early the next morning Abimelech summoned all his officials, and
when he told them all that had happened, they were very much afraid.
