What Health and Safety legislation might you need to consider in this project?
The Health and Safety at Work Act is relevant to the work I will be doing. To abide by
this piece of legislation I will check that all equipment I have is safe to use. My
‘employer’ needs to make sure I am trained to use equipment safely. When I am in
my post production process I will make sure my display screen equipment and work
space meets current safety regulations to prevent eye and wrist strain. My
‘employers’ will have to asses the risks at Nunnington Hall, though I will have to
check the hazards at Leeds and York myself.
