An independent Hawaiian organization called AINA conducted a 3-month performance review of Jobie Masagatani in her role as Director of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL). The review found that Masagatani has exceeded expectations by ensuring DHHL's compliance with legal statutes and oversight of its programs. Homestead leaders support Masagatani's leadership and her focus on long-term successes based on historical achievements. The positive results under Masagatani's management are strengthening DHHL and the Hawaiian homestead community.

which includes representation from numerous Hawaiian Homestead
leadership statewide issued today a three-month performance report card for
DHHL Director Ms. Jobie Masagatani.
AINA conducted and completed a statewide informal assessment from Hawaiian
homestead leadership and its Board members concerning Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie
appointment of Ms. Jobie Masagatani as the Director of the Department of Hawaiian Home

resource to Hawaiian homestead community organizations working in partnership with local,
state and national organizations in providing capacity building and leadership training
