We are a vibrant and dynamic company that challenges your expectations of what a surveying and engineering firm can do. Our team of highly skilled engineers and surveyors operate throughout the UK. As well as land surveying services we provide architectural building surveys to t he RICS specification for ‘Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utility Services at Scales of 1:500 and Larger’. Using a range of methods, such as, photogrammetry, laser scanning and real time floor plan software (MBS), City Surveys provide economical and accurate surveys fit for any purpose. Our clients range from small architectural companies to multinational supermarket chains. 2

A ‘turn key’ solution from initial ground investigation, land and building surveys and utilities mapping to site engineering services during construction such as setting-out of earthworks, foundations, formwork and structures. This uniquely comprehensive service means that clients avoid the need to ‘chop and change’ between contractors saving time and money in the process. Since its inception, City Surveys has grown from strength to strength seeing a great many changes along the way. TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS With the latest Direct Reflex Robotic Total Stations and RTK GPS units, City Surveys can quickly and accurately produce terrain models of sites deliverable in 2D or 3D and in any format a designer may require. These services are provided to clients on the railway infrastructure, airfields, MOD sites, motorways, to the nuclear industry and in urban centres to Architects. Our deliverables would include all references to our GI work and display all of the findings of our utilities tracing on clear, easily interpreted drawings. 4

5. 5 BANGOR HOSPITAL (YSBYTY GWYNEDD) Topographic and Utilities Mapping Survey to aid the design of a number of electrical sub-stations for a power upgrade of the hospital. This project also included our Vacuum Excavation and Verification service. 6. 6 MEASURED BUILDING SURVEYS PRODUCTION OF BUILDING FLOOR PLANS Using the latest release of MBS building surveying software and modern, touch screen field computers. Data is stored and verified in real-time on site using measuring equipment with Bluetooth connectivity. The result is more efficient survey teams, higher quality and increased productivity. Ultimately, this can mean lower prices for our clients. BUILDING ELEVATIONS Using either laser-scanning or reflectorless instrument techniques, detailed building elevations can be produced to a high degree of accuracy within a short time frame. Our clients regularly commission us to produce plans for everything from private dwellings, supermarkets or listed and elaborate church buildings using these methods.
