3. • A staple of the MTV family, Aliya-Jasmine Sovani is the host and producer of the
sports and pop culture crossover series PLAY WITH AJ, a series she conceptualized
from the ground up, based on her lifelong passion for sports and entertainment
• As a host for MTV, AJ has interviewed countless A-list celebrities, including Kanye
West, Tom Cruise, and Carrie Underwood, as well as some of biggest names in
sports, including Wayne Gretzky, Hendrik Lundqvist, and Georges St-Pierre

7. • At the young age of 22, Adam was Canada’s lone double medalist at the 2004 Athens
Olympics
• He captured a gold medal with a victory in the K1 500m event one day after racing to
a bronze in the K1 1000m
• He was chosen as Canada’s Closing Ceremonies flag-bearer, and the 2004 Lou Marsh
Award winner for Canadian Athlete of the year
• In 2008, Adam carried the flag for Canada into the bird’s nest stadium at the summer
Olympics in Beijing, China
• He was the World Champion again in 2011, this time in the 1000m event, winning by
a huge margin of over 3 seconds.
• Adam is the reigning Guinness Book World Record for the fastest 500m ever in a
Canoe or Kayak
• Of the many doors opened to Adam, he says education was the most important.

earned bucks.
• For the last decade, the highly respected Canadian financial guru has been a regular
guest commentator on BNN and other Bell Media channels, and most recently the
host of THE PATTIE LOVETT-REID SHOW on CTV News Channel.
• Pattie was awarded an honourary degree in Applied Studies from Humber College in
2010; the Financial Planners Standards Council recognized her with the 2009 Donald
J. Johnston Award for her outstanding contribution to the profession of financial
planning in Canada; and she received 2007 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top
100™ Award in the Trailblazers and Trendsetters Category.
