Introduction
Our site is a small empty land located in Sekinchan, a small town situated in the state of
Selangor, Malaysia. Located in Sekinchan, the site itself is located near to lively fishing
villages as well as the major rice producing areas in Malaysia. The vastpaddy fields located
near the chosen site produces high yields of rice for the country.
The address of our site is Jalan Sekolah, Pekan Sekinchan, 45400 Sekinchan, Selangor,
Malaysia and it has an area of 3400 m2, having a length of 85 meters and width of 40
meters. Itis located about 102 kmnorth of Kuala Lumpur, and 28 km fromKuala Selangor.
Located at the intersection point of Jalan Sekolah and Jalan Radin, the site is surrounded by
schools such as SK SeriSekinchan, SK Seri Burong , SRJK (C) Yoke Kuan and SMJK Yoke Kuan.
Moreover, our site is located along the coastal Federal Route 5 between the towns of Sabak
Bernam and Tanjung Karang, which makes it accessibleby vehicles all year round.
The reason why we choosethis site is because the site is very interesting as it is located in
Sekinchan. There are vastpaddy fields nearby that providemany opportunities for the
construction on our site. Besides, Sekinchan is also a developing tourist destination and a
fishing village. The number of tourists will definitely increase over the years and we hope
that we can develop our site to improve Sekinchan as a tourist spotand benefit the people
nearby.

Entrance: People can access the site through Coastal
Federal Route 5 beside.
Sun Circulation: The sun rises from the East to the West.
The East point is the paddy field and people are able to
watch the sun rise at the paddy fields.

Strengths and opportunities
1) The site is located 325 meters away fromthe famous paddy fields of Sekinchan. Itis
situated near a tourist attraction which is within walking distance fromthe chosen
site.
2) Facilities surrounding thesite includes primary and secondary governmentschools,
shops, smallscale factories and huge residential areas. This means that the
population around the site is huge and ensures that there are vastcommunities of
users if a small construction projectis to be proposed and constructed in the chosen
site.
3) The chosen site is located strategically at the intersection of two roads, namely Jalan
Sekolah and Jalan Radin. Moreover, the chosen site is located approximately 100
meters fromthe coastalFederal Route 5, a main transportation route. This means
that the chosen site has high accessibility.
4) The chosen site is situated approximately 365 meters fromthe town center of
Sekinchan, which is the main gathering place of the nearby communities.
5) The site is situated in a town area which is free frompollution. Moreover, the quiet
and serene setting of the site allows the site to have a more naturalenvironment.
Weaknesses and threats
1) The surroundings of the chosen site is not highly developed and there are limited
transportation available. This may be a limiting factor that reduces the number of
crowds atthe site if a new construction projectis to be constructed at the area.
2) Roads that lead to the chosen site are narrow and small. Huge and large number of
vehicles may not be able to access the site at once, leading to traffic problems which
may discouragethe visit of possible users of the constructed site.
3) The site is located in a small and quiet town area. Development and progress atthe
site may not be noticeable.
