The site plan is located near Bandar Kinrara 3, Puchong Jaya, with the address as
1-31, Jalan BK 4/1, BANDAR KINRARA 4, 47180, Puchong, Selangor. The site is
placed in the residential area of Kinrara 5 and is bounded by the neighbourhood. The area
of the site is approximately 50m by 70m, giving a rough measurement of about 3500
square meters.

2. Site Analysis
Wind direction of the site
There are two directions where wind is blowing. One of which blows towards the
southwest direction from the site and the other blowing towards northwest of the site.

The sun rises at northeast and sets at northwest

The topography of the site is generally flat with a gentle slope towards the south.

Micro-climate
The micro-climate of the site area is cool because is is surrounded by dense tress, plants
and grasses. However, due to the gentle slope towards the South, it will exposed to more
direct sunlight. Hence, the area will become warmer at some time.

Vegetation
The site is clear and has no vegetation whatsoever excluding grass, shrubs,trees and some
smaller plants in the area. The site, however is within a land area that is bordered with
dense trees on the west, north, east but none in the south.

Contextual study on the site
The site is located in a residential area in Kinrara 4. There are several types of areas
located near the site, one of which is the mosque. Known as Masjid Bandar Kinrara 5, the
mosque is located roughly 468 meters, southeast from the site and is within walking
distance. The site can also easily be accessed from the mosque by road with an estimated
journey of about 5 minutes by car if road conditions are well. Located directly next to the
mosque on the left is a government/public school known as SMK Seksyen 4 Bandar
Kinrara. The school is also within walking distance of about 692 meters away from the
site. About 264 meters southeast from the site is the location of a ‘Petronas’ petrol station
with an A&W restaurant. Directly on the left of the petrol station is the location of a
football field that provides unrestricted access to the public. The area is most commonly
used for football events such as local football leagues but is sometimes used as an area
for events held by bodies like the nearby school and etc. Located directly above is the
local cricket stadium that regularly holds events and is an active area. Located roughly
1.5 km southeast from the site is one of the largest police stations in Selangor, the
Serdang Police Station. If any crimes were to happen on the site, police aid would arrive
within minutes. Other than that, roughly 330 meters east of the site are several shoplots as
well as a ‘Giant’ shopping complex. Roughly 56 meters north of the site is a ‘shell’ petrol
stations as well as a hair salon in another residential area. About 670 meters northwest of
the site is the location of another government/public school known as Sekolah
Kebangsaan Seksyen 2 Bandar Kinrara. 548 meters west from the site is the location of
the massive industrial area known as Taman Perindustrian Kinrara Persiaran
Perindustrian Kinrara.

stations as well as a ‘Giant’ complex. Roads surrounding the site are Lebuhraya Bukit
Jalil/Bukit Jalil Highway, Jalan Kinrara 5, Jalan BK 4/10a and Jalan BK 4/1. The only
route accessible to the site is through Jalan BK 4/1, either by passing through Jalan
Kinrara 5, Jalan BK 4/1 or Jalan Tpk that is accessible through Lebuhraya Bukit
Jalil/Bukit Jalil Highway. The site is to be repurposed into either one of the following or a
combination of two from the following types of areas:
1) Recreation area
2) Commercial area
3) Industrial area
4) Agricultural area
