5. Annabel was an average middle school 5th grader at Acorn Middle School. Of course, Annabel was late again. Mr. Nutly said “You’re late again? If you’re late once more this quarter, I’ll give you Nutention”. OK, take that back what I said in the first sentence. She was a horrible student. She got home and saw her mother reading her report card. She said “Oh, Katy this is horrible. No more lolinuts until your grades go up. So Annabel worked and worked, until she could het nutterbutters again.
6. Camilla was a straight F student. She had Fs in science, social studies, language arts, math etc. She was just bad. She didn’t know three fourths of things everyone else did! She didn’t no one little thing. You could say she wasn’t the sharpest nut in the tree, but she had never been late, or absent. Then won day while looking for her iPhone she found a book. “WATH. What in the world does that mean?” Camilla turned it around. “Oh…Math!” She started looking inside. Then she got hooked. Couldn’t stop reading! The next day at school, there was a big test in math. Camilla thought , uh oh, I forgot to study again. If she could read, she would of realized she was reading the math textbook last night. She was the first one done! Later that day, she got her paper. She got an A+! Can you believe it? When she got home, she excepted her Nuther to hang her paper on the fridge! But NO! Instead her Nuther ripped the paper, threw it away, and hung up the F paper she had gotten last week! “OH NUTS!” By Emma MacIntyre
