Why did I choose the “the life of a soccer ball” as my book title?
This is because I want to highlight the previous three IDJ that I have done
through the concept “Present, Future and the supernatural”.
Why the stylish blue background?
I decided to stick with a kind of spiral shaped blue background since it adds a
stylish cool looking feature to my otherwise plain white book cover. The
spiral shaped just another texture to my soccer ball design. You may ask
why choose a spiral kind of background, the reason is since my entire IDJ is
all about soccer ball, I thought it makes sense to have a kind of spiral feeling.
At the back cover, I try to go for a slightly lighter blue tone to signal the
end of the road of another series in “THE LIFE OF A SOCCER BALL” as
well as short description about my lifework.
The bar code just add a feeling of how a real book should be.
I decided to go with “IDEA JOURNAL” as my side cover since it just sum
up my entire IDJ as they say simple but still efficient.
