5. Changing Nigerian development pathways
 At present there are no national plans prioritising
sustainable development platforms
 Facilitate zero environmental use cost.
 National energy strategy is geared at migration to gas
from oil; now we focus on the next phase solar, wind
and other renewables.

6. Core goals
 Short term; co-ordinate government departments
including planning, Energy/power, finance and trade &
industry to begin attending annual roundtable to
discuss alternative low carbon, sustainable
development pathways by the end of 2015.
 Medium term; Obtain MOU from federal government
for programme of utilisation of coal, solar/renewable
energy for 50% of government offices by 2020
 Long term; Deliver RFP from 3 at least operators for
coal with mass transit system and renewable energy at
its core.

7. A new African city with coal at its centre
The plan is world class.
Establishing for the first time an environmental impact study on the 300 plants and animals listed
as endangered in Nigeria. The majority are plants with trees in the
North of Nigeria facing increased attacks as desertification feds a vicious cycle of poverty and
deforestation.

 This plan sets out to fund and build a new city with reduced
government expenditure
