2. CHERRI AFRICA is a non governmental organization whose primary aim is to
provide adequate health information and awareness as a short term goal and
healthcare resources as a long term goal for the ever increasing Nigerian populace and
Africa in general.
The CHERRI AFRICA project is a three-phase project which include the following:
• A 24/7 operational website” www.cosmoshealthafrica.org” which is updated on a
daily basis by seasoned medical practitioners with medical health information
including: health advisory, medical prescriptions, medical health diagnostic procedures
for professionals ( Short term goals).
• Health awareness creation through health talk shows, seminars and conferences. This
would be organized every month at designated locations throughout the federation
and is aimed at providing medical health information and resources to
individuals, medium scale organizations in the health sector and medical health
institutions in partnership with CHERI AFRICA. (Short term goals).
• Provision of healthcare, healthcare facilities and resources in rural communities
especially sub Saharan Africa through partnership with multi national organizations
which in turn will evoke funding for this project. (Long term project)
3. To help combat increasing ignorance in health
management awareness amongst children and adults
in rural communities in Nigeria and sub Saharan
Africa in general by enhancing capacity building in
health awareness using resourceful tools including
health seminars, conferences web resources and
provision of healthcare facility as a long term goal
so as to reduce endemic disease prevalence and
mortality by initiating health conscious decisions
amongst our people.
4. Moving to local communities through the LCDAs (Local Development Areas).
Restructured logistics frame work for effective accessibility to people
Restructured frame work for outsourcing for multinational organization for
sponsorship/partnership.
Expansion of parts of outreaches to South-Eastern, northern and Western Nigeria.
Reaching out to sub-saharan Africa with the „kick against HIV/AIDS in Africa”
campaign.
Training of more volunteer staffs to enhance effective delivery in HIV and HBsAg
screening especially.
Recruitment of more staff to work for the sustainability of the project in other states
of Nigeria.
Expansion in the area of capacity building, research and staff development for
sustainability of our long term goals such as construction of two state-of-the-art
medical diagnostic centre in Lagos and Abuja by 2025.
We hope to cover 2 local governments each either through mobilization of our
volunteers/staffs to the LCDAs to organize health awareness programs or through
the use of our integrated internet platform to get information across to people that
have access to internet while less privileged people would be reached through their
LCDAs representatives

7. We intend to move from the south to the east to the north and back, west using the
following strategies:
Recruitment of more medical staffs and volunteers.
Use of our internet platforms to reach out to specific cities to implement CHERRI
AFRICA s vision through seminars, conferences, outreaches and
partnership/sponsorship.
Outsourcing in southern states of Nigeria which includes: Ogun state, Oyo state,
Lagos state, Ondo state, Kwara state, Ekiti state and Abuja FCT
OTHER STATES THAT WE INTEND TO COVER BY 2020 ALSO INCLUDES:
Edo state, Benue state, Rivers state, Kano state, Kaduna state, Delta state, Enugu
state.
We hope to cover 2 local governments each either through mobilization of our

We would train many educated individuals in local community on how to educate
other individuals on HIV/AIDS.
9. CHERRI AFRICA currently consist of a 8 member team comprising 3 medical
doctors,2 trained medical laboratory scientists,2 administrative staffs and a secretary.
We are currently working with about 20 volunteers in Lagos state .CHERRI AFRICA
is headed by Mr. Abiodun Oluwasegun Oluga(FOUNDER) with Ms. Oloruntoyin
Suliat Sadiq and Dr. Damilare Adeniyi as CO-FOUNDERS.
WHAT WE DO
CHERRI AFRICA‟s effort and passion is directed towards ensuring that our people
take health conscious decisions. We are actively involved in organizing health
seminars, conferences , talk shows and outreaches in schools , churches, mosques ,
local communities and gatherings. We also conduct FREE medical diagnosis and
patient follow-up on HIV/AIDS screening, HBsAg screening, Blood pressure checks
and Diabetes screening.
So far, we have successfully conducted FREE HIV screening for about 800 people at
different locations in Lagos state and this was single handedly carried out using our
personal resources and funding because we believe in a common interest which is
“SUSTAINABILITY IN ENSURING THAT OUR PEOPLE TAKE HEALTH
CONCIOUS DECISIONS”.
10. CHERRI AFRICA currently has a staff strength of 8 people and
several volunteers, we are hoping to get more staff so as to enhance our
expansion to other states.
CHERRI AFRICA deploys the use of state-of-the-art web resource to
reach out to Africa in an online community of web users. We hope to
use our web resource to preach health awareness, with primary focus on
HIV/AIDS AND HEPATITIS B.
Our web resource which is going to address various health issues that
will be useful for both professionals and amateurs. This platform will be
updated with new health information by our research and development
analyst.
CHERRI AFRICA hopes to strategically raise funds from
sponsors/partners ranging from individuals to SMEs and multi national
organization.
11. FINANCIAL PLAN
Below is a Summary of how much we have spent, how much we currently have and
budget to attain a sustainable project for all our long term goals.
We have spent about N800,000,being used in the purchase of the CHERRI AFRICA
project car (N550,000) while the remaining N300,000 was spent on purchase of
laboratory reagents, glucometers, blood pressure analyzers and logistics for moving
around to major locations of all our outreaches.
At the moment we have about N100,000 in the CHERRI AFRIC account which shall be
used in purchase of reagents and logistics for our upcoming activities and outreaches
We look forward to getting funding from multinational organization to enable us expand
the project to other states of Nigeria as discussed earlier
We also hope to get funding from multi national organizations, patrons and individuals to
construct a state-of-the-art diagnosis centre that would be named after the sponsor.
The centre which would be located in both Lagos and Abuja would conduct FREE
HIV/HBsAg screening for all kind of individuals, while other clinical infectious
diagnosis would be carried out at discounted rates. Generated funds will be used for
the sustainability and development of the centre.
